I need a little help with the correct color combo on this pair. I knew as soon as I saw them I had to have them. Originally I thought it might be dark blue / fire or gold iridium but now that they have arrived I think the lenses are ruby. The icons are orange as is the print on the bridge. Any ideas? These are awesome in person!

Looks like Blue/Fire Iridium.

Looks like the Collegiate Florida one, but the art for that doesn't have the matching nose text color, and these don't have the logo. My other guess would be Midnight which I've seen in person, but felt was darker. Has been 10+ years though since my friend had it.

I wasnt thinking the color was correct for the blue pair Eddy. Dann, did they make collegiate Straight Jackets?

I'll try to gather up all my blue NSJ tonight for a color comparison.

First thought was with Eddy and my feeling is it's the 12-588. It's certainly a Fire lens and not Ruby.

Sorry, stupid me. I ignored the title and quickly thought that was an XX.

OK, I dug out a few other pair to compare. First the blues, from top to bottom, light blue, electric blue, midnight and the unknown. I am leaning toward the blue/fire pair although the blue doesnt quite match the pic posted in the database. As for the lenses, I set them side by side with my Cannon red pair of NSJ and the lenses are different. The ones in the blue frame have a lot more red in them. I guess it could be attributed to batch variations.

Just curious, does anyone else have this pair?

Here is the Florida Minute, the frame is Navy, looks to have a little metal flake in it but the icons and print is a match.

Blue with flake is known as New Blue. Most notable on the racing jacket and athlete topcoat.

Just looked like there was some fine metal flake in the Minute, the NSJ has none for comparison.
