Exciting times. I like this new campaign. It’s a very smart platform to market products through storytelling. It’s like watching a good movie and then wanting to buy the product placements that come with it.

It does the many things I’ve been wanting over the last decade including more of a focus on sci-fi, better connectivity to the original brand identity, and a larger of volume of products that may be considered “art” (still TBD on this last one).

I recognize this is to replenish the fanbase and is geared more for the Gen Z rather than the Gen Xers, so most of this stuff in the years to come (leading up to the 2028 Olympics) will not connect with me. I understand the necessity of it and love the brand direction nevertheless.

If anything, I hope it does bring up a new generation of hardcore collectors that I can sell stuff to at super high prices when I get to retirement age in many, many years.

Born from the echoes of Sub Zero, XM is a new exploration to combine the poly materials of a time gone by with a metal skeleton for enhanced structure and durability. It's shapes are reminiscent of Sub Zero, with titanium framing to withstand any condition.

Yep, too good to be true. Bait and switch. All hype for the Mahomes releases. LOL. Here's an X-Metal Sub Zero to get your hopes up but were actually releasing retro Subs and these cool Fat Cat inspired things.

Not this time of year, that's a year end type release since it will be like the Mars last year, provided it comes to market. They still need to drop the regular Sub Zero's we've been seeing off and on. As far as the video there was a lot of frogskin signature frog references, and a bmx grip on the desk in that video. The little girl was also wearing a goggle that looks like the one that was seen last year with the flex scape.

Sigh.

We all will be very, very disappointed. At least in the short term. This thing is more like a vehicle for concepts, ideas, and the “potential” rather than actual products. That’s not to say there aren’t cool products coming down the pipe. It just means you won’t see everything realized from the videos.

That's good to know. I think most of us thought what we saw we were getting as product. Maybe not everything but the things they called specific attention to like the SUBZERO XM. But CASPER seems to be releasing in the form of Vapor Scape. But we can't expect SUBZERO XM or PSYKE just because they are featured. Disappointing - but at least we can now see what they have in mind for this. Which helps reel back in our or my expectations.
