Is the older straight jacket actually a different size or just sans metal icons (like the difference in the old/new eye jackets)? It looks bigger in pics but that can be decieving.

The older is a little boxxier and the newer a little rounder. I do think the older is a bit bigger.

It's a bit taller and the stems seem a little flatter. I believe the old SJ used the old O Matter, so the New SJ should be stronger.

Gotcha, just wondering if I got an older pair, they would be different. Thanks.

Speaking of old vs new straight jackets...
I was wondering if the new SJ earsocks will work on old SJ's. Anyone ever try it? Of course I called Oakley HQ and whoever I talked to didn't have a clue but they are sending me a free pair to try out anyway. Gotta make my Bengal SJ's look nice and pretty!

You're right. The new SJ earsocks are rounder and less tall. Do you know where a guy can get a pair of discontinued earsocks? Anybody, anybody? Am I on a fool's errand?

The old SJ's fit pretty tight on my head, whereas the new SJ's i tried in the store fit my comfortably. My old pair snapped by the arms, but unfortunately they never made an electric mustard in the newer version or else i would've bought a pair
