The Oakley Review - About Us

About the Oakley Review

The Oakley Review was born out of a lack of any good comprehensive Oakley site. Some commercial sites had reviews, but they weren't meant for just Oakley, and their layouts tended to be a bit clunky. There were also no sites that catalogued the entire Oakley line, and when a model or color combo went out of the production lines, it seemed to disappear from all records too. So with this situation on Monday, May 17, 2004 at 10:04:52 AM, I set out to create the most comprehensive, informative, and clean site dedicated to all that is Oakley. At this site, you should be able to find almost any pair of glasses, with pictures, information and availability. Reviews can be added by anyone to further add to wealth of information. Please return as this site is always changing.

Information for glasses since 2002 should be fairly complete, as I've been cataloguing each pair as they've come out. Old models especially from the early 90's are very broken. I've done my best to research each pair, but there are still some gaps, and I'm working on closing them.

We need your help though! Please post a review if you've used an Oakley product and want to comment on how well it worked for you. Even if you didn't like it, please post that as well, so everyone can be forwarned.

If you have pictures of anything that is not on this site, whether it's a color combo or an entire model that has been left out, please contact us so we may add it. I'm specifically looking for Old M Frames, (Razor)Blades, and old Wires. Pictures for the Gallery are also always welcome.

We're also always looking for comments and suggestions, so please send us your feedback. It is always appreciated.

About the Creator

I've been interested in Oakley's since 2002 from my first pair (FMJ/Ice Splice) to the present. Between my friends and I, we're pushing 200 Oakley items and counting all the time, over a half of that being glasses. We are all legally insane for this obsession, but we stand by our disfunction proudly.
