Finally received it... after nearly six months of waiting. Wanted to share this with all of you, especially my BFF, Freesh.

The presentation was nothing short of amazing. Oakley did a phenomenal job.

The unveiling:

The watch actually came in two separate boxes:

The case, boxed separately, was even more impressive than the watch:

That box is hardcore. And that presentation is just ridiculous. They really are taking the "Elite" status to heart. Can't wait to see how you set it up and assimilate it into your collection. I also want to see how big the box looks in your setup because it'll help me understand how massive it is.

...and by the way, cool watch too, haha.

Thanks a lot, gentlemen. It was a looooooong wait (paid for 08/22/11), but it finally arrived.

If anyone has any additional questions regarding the watch or would like any more pics just let me know.

Cool fact: the OR now has every Elite piece released - so far, anyway.

Nice pick up.

How easy/hard is it to convert to a pocket watch?

How does it feel in comparison to the Hollow Point?

To answer some questions:

How easy/hard is it to convert to a pocket watch?

How does it feel in comparison to the Hollow Point?

At first I was a bit hesitant to do anything with it (such as convert it to a pocket watch) because I was afraid to scratch it. Finally I gave in to the urge & disassembled it. It was quite simple. No problem at all.

As for the Hollow Point, sorry, but since I've never seen that particlar watch in person I wouldn't be able to provide an accurate answer.

But I will say that anyone who is planning on getting an FMJ beware: the links are a nightmare to deal with. Although Oakley includes a special tool to unscrew the links, most of the links (at least in mine) are INCREDIBLY and UNNECESSARILY tight - to the point that I had to lay the watch on the carpet, place my knee and literally all my physical weight on the band in order to stabilize it, use the special tool included to remove the links, and even use a wrench to turn the tool in order to generate sufficent torque to turn the screws loose in the band.

All this to remove a few links. I have no idea why they had to tighten them so much, but for an aptly-designed band Oakley made it more than a daunting task to do a simple sizing.
