And as I was searching, I found this claiming that 1988 was the start of Iridium. It seemed that way, but the sparce records made it hard to pin down.

Very nice. I missed out on the Flesh shoes back in the day. A shame. Wasn't much of a loafer/slip on footwear kinda guy back then, but that's all I'm about nowadays.
