If someone has already posted this and I missed it I apologize but does anyone have a side by side of the different cut for the nose piece on a Gen I & II.

I could do it to with two V lenses... In the next days...

And about the kit boxes, there is two versions, one saying MUMBO and one saying M FRAME...

According to a poster on the Facebook group, the stray digit on the box corner is a check digit from the barcode.

Sounds like something it would stand for. Good knowledge for whoever knew that on FB.

Actually, the first set of numbers denotes the date when the box was made, and then the last number is simply a batch number for those boxes.

The glasses were inserted, then a sticker barcode would have been added.

Hello,

Was supposed to do that a while ago... Who asked already? Ah yes, Greg... There we go... Nose shape Mumbo/M Frame lens comparison...

V vs Strip
Here we have, in front, a V less with Razor Blade type nose and behind a Strip lens with M Frame type nose.

V vs V
Now, first the same V lens with Razor Blade type nose and behind a V lens with the M Frame type nose.

V vs V
Same lenses as previous picture but from far.

I let you comment on these.

Thank you guys...I've never seen an algae Mframe. Craziness.

Atre black Rain and cobalt the same design with a color difference?

I think there are two Cobalts. Later on in the Jackets, it became a crackle frame, rather than a patchwork one like Black Rain

I have never seen an GEN1 algae. I've seen a GEN2.

And for that one you quote as cobalt, is that not rather a black rain?

Thats a cobalt :

Cobalt

Thats a black rain :

Clément's black rain M Frame

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Cobalt is like a Blue Gold-X, Black Rain is a blue Glitter Gulch.

Sorry, my mistake, the one I posted was a Black Rain frame, not Cobalt.

Black Rain has no blue in it, just Black and Grey like you said.

The catalog dated 93 on the first page mentions only fingerprint and carbon fiber. May have been a few right before the change over to Gen II
