Guys, since I'm not much of a jewelry guy and don't know too much about rings, I need your knowledge to help find a cool and unique ring. Perhaps this can be a good resource for other members as well. Throw out any ideas you have; just looking to see what's out there right now.

My initial plan was to get a Rogue DZN Clover ring. I was ready to pull the trigger earlier this week, but discrepancies on what the jewelers tell me my ring size is and what RDZN's ring size measurements are (along with the no return/no exchange policy) has kept me at bay for a little bit.

Also looked at Carlex's cobolt rings with gold inlays. It's cool, but it doesn't move me to buy it.

Seen some of Cartier's bands as well. Cool stuff but not really unique:

Bought this Tungsten Carbide ring for something like $15 as backup just in case I don't find anything. I like it, but looking for something more unique:

The David Yurman Ironwood bands are cool and unique. It's on my list (as are their Armory rings...love their design inspiration, medieval armour):

Throw out what you think are cool and unique wedding rings.

The last two are awesome. Since I'm not a jewelry guy, I went with a simple Ti band with white gold inner rings. Course my budget was only like $300.

That's pretty much what I did Dann. I got a TI band without white gold. I think it was like $150. I like the last two as well and the Tungsten Carbide is pretty nice especially for $15.

The hang-ups with your ring size and Rogue stink Oak. Hopefully you can that squared away. I still would go Rogue... HA! If I could.

I've always been thinking about comfort first. It's supposed to something that you will always wear. So I avoided the thick ones that might have hurt side fingers.
I went with a thin white and grey gold for almost the price of the "cheapest" RogueDZN ring

Yeah, comfort is always a big concern. that's a good point about the band digging into the side fingers, and it was one of my concerns about the ring I liked from RDZN - part of the ring jutted out as much as 4mm. There may be issues weaing something like that 24 hours a day.

That Bvlgari one is pretty nice.

And this "Save the children" (in Silver and black ceramic) it's not very expensive, the other it's in white Gold.

I like the RDZN but they look pretty wide for my skinny fingers. If I ever get married, I will want a platinum and gold mokume gane ring.

Wow, those last ones are beautiful! I've never heard of mokume gane rings, and it's simply amazing.

Not especially my style, but these Steampunk-inspired bands are super unique and crazy cool (extra props to the one made from an Omega movement):

I told my fiance that I want the One ring to rule them all, even if she had to travel to middle earth. I don't think she knew what the hell I was talking about unfortunately...
I will say this: if you are like me you really could care less what your wedding band looks like. For me, it was all about finding the perfect ring for her, one that she will be happy with forever because what it comes down to is my happiness is relative to her happiness

The one in the above post is cool. Don't know where to get it though. I actually like the first concrete rings a lot.

Near as I can tell, they're black zirconium rings made out to look like motorcycle tires. There are some really cool patterns out there:

I feel like ring collecting would put our hobby to shame. And to think I thought women's rings were the bulk of the ring variety out there. (okay, they probably still are)

Yeah, there's still a huge glut in women's rings (especially the engagement rings, naturally). It probably took me roughly 9-10 solid months of searching before I found an engagement ring I wanted to give. A guy could actually make a killing doing engagement ring consulting work.

I bought a piece of the Gibeon meteorite a while back. I make miniature damascus knives and wanted to try to make a charm out of it.

Blacksmith and Co.'s Equator line of palladium rings are pretty unique for the $1-2k price range:
