Looks like a nice evolution borrowing heavily from the Shocktube design. I didn't catch the most of those Prizm lens options on the SI site - hopefully they will be coming soon.

I agree the arms look like the Tombstone... only better with the frame going across the top which improves fit to your head. The Tombstone lens alone didn't provide enough tension and if you simply bent over they would fly off your face.

Looks pretty nice. Anyone know how Switchlock works on this?

I really like the case:

[quMy understanding is it's a switch like on tombstone but instead of removing the stem it unlocks the lens. Select Oakley Stores are set to get these this month as well.

I'm still perplexed why the water Prizm lens options haven't hit the SI site. Particularly since they all share the Standard Issue label on oakley.com. Trying to wait patiently here.....

Wondering if there was an QC issue with the Speed Jacket, or just some production issues keeping up with demand. I placed an order for one off the SI site around 11/24/16, and even then it was backordered with a 12/31 ship date. Looks like they have never come available again, and reflect a 3/4/17 ship date now. Hope it all works out in the next 3-4 weeks, as I already received the Deep H20 replacement lenses. :)

Something seems to have happened over the last couple of months because a lot of items went on backorder at almost the same time. Most are back in stock now, but the products were so assorted I just can't help to wonder if there is a correlation. I would love to think that Oakley had experienced an unseasonably huge run on their stuff and they just couldn't keep up.

I hope that whatever is holding up the Speed Jacket gets worked out, tho. It would suck if this leads to it getting pulled because of a problem. Three months is a hot minute to be perpetually stuck on backorder. Meanwhile, the Half Jacket 1.0 lenses are still listed as in stock ..... o_0

They moved their warehouse from Cali to Georgia. I think they must have had some issues. Ive had a prizm sporting clay tombstone lens on order for almost two months

Just signed up so excuse the lack of logo but wanted to comment on this thread when I found it on a google search. I originally ordered these back in Jan. Every 30 days I've been getting updates like the one below, frustrating! Here's the latest update...thinking about just ordering another model at this point? Cool shades but they are vapor at this point...

You're not alone. One took three months to arrive, and a few other people are only getting shipments now after equally long waits.
