I have this nos Strike lens in what looks like 'old school' fire. The box has a sticker on it which says 'Red Iridium' but could be a fire lens in a mismatched box so I would appreciate sone more info on Red Iridium...

Base colour is brown/green as found on Fire...

orange iridium → red iridium → positive red iridium → fire iridium → ruby iridium etc.

red type iridium lens history

Depending on the time of production, there is red iridium which looks like fire iridium, but the red center of the lens is red iridium. However, it was not very popular at the time of release. Blue was also like sapphire early

Orange Mirror, Orange Iridium, Red Iridium, and Fire are all the same thing, just separated by time. However as they updated the names, existing models retained the older ones, so at one point in 1991 there was an Orange Mirror Eyeshade, Orange Iridium RazorBlade / Frogskins, and Red Iridium M Frame.

+Red Iridium also appeared but was the true red/purple. Fire was deeper early on, but later turned more orange like the earlier mirrors. Prizm Ruby seems to be very close now.
