Says delivery on the 20th, now we wait.

Can someone over there help me out getting one? More than happy to cover expenses. Attempted to buy multiple times, tried contacting customer service but they don't work weekends here. Also attempted to buy from U.S. site but don't send to AU. I would appreciate if anyone can help me out. Thanks.

I'm very pleased Oakley made enough to go around this time. Part of Oakley's success is making good product and getting them into consumer hands, not having items so limited that only a relative few can experience it (or scalp it, whatever the case may be).

That said, the distribution on this new Xeus is odd. The Gold Xeus came to a lot of O Stores, online and wholesale accounts. It seems this time the Silver Xeus skipped out on most of the O Stores. You would think Lux would want to drive foot traffic now that COVID is settling down. I'm sure there's been a bunch of good analysis and strategy around the distribution, but it does seem strange.

If this is the case, its unfortunate. From my experience the boutique stores they've been working with for early releases have pretty bad service.

It does say "Limited Edition." Wondering what the actual number is. Doesn't matter too much I suppose but still curious.

Some are saying 5k. That sounds right. I wouldn't be surprised if it was 10k like the Carbon Primes.

On another note, the Silver Xeus uses a thinner/cheaper/updated version of the earstems compared to the Gold version. I immediately noticed a difference when I first held it. Let me know what you guys think of the earstems.

Not only that but where the bar connects is also thicker.

I haven't even gotten mine and I'm already regretting the purchase...

Nothing to regret. They are awesome. A little bit different but still comfortable and badass.

I like the changes to the brow bar. Makes it look sleeker. The contrast with the chrome iridium is very cool as well. It's just the earstems I had pause on. Perhaps they gave it a lower profile for the helmet/hat wearers while also having the advantage of greater flexibility and lower weight.

I think it's a very nice product. That said, I'm grading it as a non-wearer; I'm using it as a piece of modern art for home decor. Given that it hasn't sold out and if it won't be for some time, this will likely be discounted in the not-too-distant future knowing Lux's MO.
