Finally I get my Why 3 Ruby yesterday....they are really cool....my problem was that I never saw those lenses before.....but know I am happy I like them very much. And here are some pics for you guys....lense color is more blue than on the first pic....it´s really weird. But the second pic shows (blue shade) the real color that you see if you look through the lenses. Also I will list in a extra topic my other new rar stuff ! Hey guys sorry about my english but I hope everyone understand what I write here.

Where did you get them made?

I can't speak for Alex but those are a standard pair - they were in production.

Damn, thats too bad they aren't prescription available. They would look really nice. Does anyone know why none of the Ruby Oakley lenses are available in prescription? I've always wondered.

Maybe because once they take the time to make the specified prescription, they don't want to risk the 60% failure rate of ruby lenses.

A friend of mine has some Ruby light blue lenses on his old school a-wires. Those are pretty sick. Ill have to see if I can score a pic. Ruby clear is one of the better clear colors i think.

I actually have one of the Ruby Clear Why 3's too. I got it as a gift a few years ago from a guy in design, it's by FAR the coolest "clear" lens Oakley makes. My boss at the time got a Mag 4 S, Plasma/Ruby Clear from the same guy, it was awesome. I'm gonna see if I can't wiggle it outta him...

East Cost is right...this is a standard model from Oakley. But you have to check your local dealer....Ruby Clear is not available at Oakley Homepage.

I don´t think so.....because the Ruby clear lens is flat. And the T-wire frame is not flat.

I just can speak for Germany and Europe. You can order here the complete Why 3 Titanium Frame/Ruby Clear lenses. I don´t know if they are available in the States. But just check it with you local dealer.

Found the SKU, so if you want to buy it may help, either on-line or by calling a dealer.

05-858 WHY3 Titanium / Ruby Clear Iridium / Lens 3

Google 'oakley' and the SKU and you'll find a bunch of on-line sources. (For some reason the Ti Square Wire Ti / Ti Iridium will also show up - I'm almost positive that's wrong)
