That went really high. I don't remember one going for more than $8k at auction.

Yeah, last one (that I saw) on eBay went for $9K in Feb 2009. I would've had it...

Next time.

Don't know why they re-posed the auction, but it's for the same person. I also think the $1,000 auction was just a typo.

Not trying to create bloodlust on the forum, but the winner of the 18k TB might just be one of our favourite scalpers, Amermstng (using one of his many eBay handles, of course).

I hope I'm wrong.

You often hear 'don't believe everything you read on the internet' ... but I am hold a firm mantra of 'believe everything Oak says about the internet.'

Pretty sad, really. Sad that it went to scalpdouschestang. Sad that ameridousche has $5500 lying around to invest in said watch. Sad that it will be up with $10k+ BIN auctions in the coming weeks.

Aaaaaaannnnnndddd...

Your suspicions have been confirmed. The human piece of feces that many of us adore has indeed purchased the 18K Gold Time Bomb with only one intention:

I should have made the seller an offer while the opportunity presented itself. At least it would have went to a home where it would have been cherished, not flipped for profit.

But TERRORISM, can you see him making the kind of profit he desires....I mean 50 grand, he's obviously in cloud-cuckoo land: I honestly believe he'll make a loss due to him altering the surface of it(was ball-bearing finish(hes words)? now it's shinyyyyyyyyyy). Any collector "worth their salt", wouldn't even consider wasting space for it!, and when it comes down to it, whom other a collector would be able to afford such a sum?

Somebody needs to cut his nuts off with a dull scalpel and dip him into a barrel of razors and salt laced with sodium hydroxide.

Just sayin'.

So it's back up for auction, only without a BIN price. Given his many accounts, this shill bidding should be strong in that one. Looking forward to seeing the outcome.

I doubt if I'll bid on it. Really don't want anything from that guy... Unless the price is unreasonably low, which is bound NOT to happen.

I wonder if he'd use an alias to bid against potential buyers to raise the price...seems like the type of dude who'd do that, no?
