Got the new double wide tower yesterday at VUTT Sunglasses. So much better than the last clear tower with the annoying legs. All black with lights on top and the bottom.

they are sick, my new double and 2 new megas should be here tomorrow, the new womens towers are really sick too!!

those pics(warwagons) are the new mega towers, they are a lot bigger than the old megas, these look killer in person, trust me!! They are heavier than the older pieces too, the lighting has had a MAJOR upgrade as well and the shelves damn near have the look of glass! Also the "O" and Oakley on the top are illuminated with the lights.

Yes these things are absurdly heavy. Trying to move it into that spot was a chore. The shelves are made of glass, which is good and bad. In a day we've had to clean it already due to dust collecting on the shelf. Other than that, it is a great display. Ton of space in the compartment on the bottom. They are also spring loaded so they stay open and shut. These towers are the best ones Oakley has released so far. Kudos the the designers.

From what i was told a few months back by my rep, that OAkley hadn't been satisfied with the current clear ones and that production had ceased, hence why there were no more replacements of the old ones, and that a new one was in development, well i see they have done what they should have in the first place.

Some older ones should start flooding the market again, and will we see anyone score a clear one....??????

you are not missing much with the clear one, there has been pics on here before. I personally think they are really cheap looking and very fragile.

Treat the shelves with the Meguiar's hydrophobic wax and that should help repel the dust problem. They are nice. I saw them at HQ when I was on the last tour with that AWESOME member out here who flew out and arranged it all. They are clean. Much like the ones in the lobby at HQ, just not quite so big. They light up nicely, and present themselves well. The Women's displays are way cool too!

It's like anything else, you can't stay the same for 30 years appearance wise, otherwise the competition will blow by and leave you in the dust. They are massive, and I would love to get my hands on one for the shear shelf space and lighting. I might even "Chop" the floor in my extra old one and back light it in the same fashion underneath...

I wouldn't say they are going after a "New Image" or a facelift with these, otherwise they would wind up like Michael Jackson having the nose fall off and appear like a Carnival Freak Show attraction...Just an updated look to an industrial design.

The new towers are total SICKNESS!!!!!! I LOVE THE LOOK!!!

The new towers (double and sigle mega) arrived at a local optometrist shop. they look NIIIIIIICE!!!!!!! i wouldnt mind having one of each, but the original cases are still my favorite!!!!!

the new ones are real nice in comparison to the last ones/attempt at towers. Don't get me wrong, the premier/premium are sweet in their own right, but just aren't the same caliber of the original industrial mega or double/triple. The new ones are very similar to the towers in the lobby and very similar to the display in the Bass Pro Shop in Rancho Cucamonga. I like the direction they went and they should appeal to many.

Not screaming Oakley, but demands respect as a display piece.

yeah, all I need are 12' ceilings, a forklift, and some really powerful friends. Really powerful! That would be my new Twin Towers and a huge King Size bed between the base pillars!

The new ones are really sick! I have some great "stocked pics to post up soon" The company that made them did a killer job and there customer service is second to none. When my new double arrived, none of the light would work at all! There is not just 2 bulbs in these like the old doubles, there are 2 long flouro bulbs in the bottom, 1 long flouro in the top along with 6 individual bulbs in the top too. I reported it to my rep, called let someone know at HQ and I kid you not, I had a kit dropped by the next morning from fedex overnight. It had a message to hold for "so and so" and about an hour after it arrived, a guy came in to fix it. Had just drove in from Arkansas! I was pretty impressed and the problem was some loose connections on the inside of switch apparently from the shipment. More to follow with the pics! I am on my way to watch my Colts walk all over the Chiefs!
