Got my C Six today, #525/1500. See pics in the new purchases section. I didn't know if it was against the rule to post pics in both sections. If not, I'll post one here too.

Congrats on the Grails and the Jewels. Hard to get but that satisfaction gained by owning them is so worth it.

We are all waiting on you Oak to grab one. My bank account does not agree with me on the flask. Although very cool, I just cannot do it. A Five-seveN is more in order.

I have the prototype Medusa, prototype Pit Boss with squished "O" (that I still wear today), original Oakley Grips, stickers and t-shirts from the 1970's, original business cards and quite a few other things (like this 1st invoice) that remind me of the history of Oakley. I started Oakley with $300 in 1975. May 1st actually. What a wild ride it was.

I appreciate the following and interest of everyone here. It certainly makes the effort worthwhile and life rich and full.

My best to all.

Hi JIm... I want to take this chance and ask you what was the last pair of oakley frames you had an influence on with their design.

I have a feeling it was the Pitboss. But only you truly know.

Personally i find the Pitboss the best pair i have ever bought, and feel that it was the last true Oakley before you stepped away.

The first trick is to buy things when they're relatively current.

The second trick is forecasting which items are going to be worth the effort.

My crown jewel, would definitely be the two pairs of Shoeone's i have. Been wanting them for a long time, finally got them this year.

Holy Grail, those grips, and for some reason real deal carbon fiber sunglasses.

We were so desparate for Oakleys in South Africa in those days, my Mumbos had 2 righthand earstems installed when I got them...wore them like that..lefthand side upside down... - TB1

That's dedication.

No thank you Jim. Oakley products has kept me out of trouble in the past, and still get a kick looking on what others collect. Its a fantastic lifestyle if not a hit to the hip pocket hehe.

Gascan C100
Jupiter LX Troy Lee Designs LX Blue, Blue Black Radient Rizla
Juliet 24K Titanium Polarized
Juliet Ichiro Carbon OO Blue

Gascan David Flores brown (still not sure bout inconsistent DF1/DF2 labelling)

The brown, japan exclusive Flores has always been referred to as the Flores 1.0, while the blue, recalled Flores as the 2.0 hope that clears it up. =)
