That's really awesome! How would you compare the polarized emerald iridium to the regular emerald? Any noticeable difference at all?

Mike, at first blush, I notice no difference. Obviously, the polarization is in effect, but like the stats suggest (13% transmission on both lenses), they appear very similar.

I only spent about 10 minutes with them last night to take the pictures. I'll try and do a comparison shot when I get a chance.

I like your holy grail, Yukio. Mine's the Juliet version and the real visor (not the fake ones that have come up in the past few months) but with the official 20th Century Fox certificate. They're out there; I just gotta wait until one of those prop collectors give it up.

Any way back on topic: Crown jewel would have to be 3 pieces
1. Zero .3s for shear coolness
2. Mars leather for unbelievably lucky timing and ridiculously absurd purchase price (and incredibly low serial #).
3. Suprisingly my New square wire polarized titanium VR28 black polarized AR hydrophobic, because they are light, have every feature that I could possibly want, and are far and away the most practical sunnys I own.

Holy Grail is the new Carbon fibers... Whenever they come out!

Thanks everyone, Obviously the baby isn't the reason I haven't been here for almost 9-10 months. More of a financial/lack of interest in expanding my collection. I have WAY to many hobbies and somethings bound to give, this time it's Oakleys, though I always represent!

A worthy crown jewel for sure. What boggles my mind, though, is how potentially random and precariously tossed out all those goodies were. You could have ended up with nothing, with something cool, or something phenominal.

We were all an "Annie" away from a diamond TT. Just sayin.
