Enough with the retrospectives.

What are some purchase goals or other O-goals for 2009.

Me?

#1. Purchasing a Medusa hat and Google set.

#2. Recovering the ceramic Bob and Crystal Bob that I sold.

#3. Keeping the wallet from getting any lighter. :D

I would say:

#1: Get a pair of OTT's

#2: Chrome Iridium Inmates

#3: Get a pair of blue David Flores GC's. I had 2 coming to me before the recall and then got screwed over by Oakley direct errors.

#4: Get a bob head. I miss the head/torso I had.

I have more than enough display cases, I just need the good stuff to fill them now.

My Oakley Goals For 2009:

#1 Make it to the Boot Camp Co-Pilot Event

#2 Get another tower since I am out of room

#3 Get the Troy Lee Goggle

#4 Try to find a job that pays enough to keep up with
the insatiable appetite for this addiction known as Oakley!

#5 Monster Dog Crush watch...

1. Emerald titanium C-wire

2. Gen. 1 Eye Jackets

3. Update my collection page and images and start using more of this great website to my advantage.

4. To learn more about what we collect. Education is essential to the hobbyist.

5. To see this website and community through a glorious '09, out of the "aughts", and into 2010.

1) As with every year, be more selective in what I buy.
2) Go back to basics with my collection and place an emphasis on X-metal.

I want to...
1. Expand my x-metal collection
2. Get a pair of flores or C100 gascans

Keep it simple thats what I say.

1. Minimize impulse buys.
2. Sell the pairs that I don't wear.
3. Purchase a custom pair of Crosshairs.

concentrate on building up one thing at a time in my collection artist series,signature,x-metal etc. and no impulse buys and maybe concentrate on some TRULY rare stuff

Hard to define something accurate but here are my goals (not any special order):

¤ Less quantity, more quality

¤ Find (at a good price) the pieces I've been wanting for long time (X-Metal XX 24K, Plate 24K, complete Medusa, Timebomb Ti/Ti ...)

¤ Update my collection page like B3

¤ Get the french forum more active

¤ Get my f#$!@g promotion at work !

Get my hands on:

Supreme Frogskins - White/24k
Supreme Frogskins - Royal Blue/Fire

1.Any kind of display.
2.More X-Metal.
3.Less impulse buying.

I'd have to concur with Francois, less quantity, more quality.

Would also like to get my hands on some more display items.

As far as glasses go, perhaps another x-metal, custom oil rig or another straight jacket.

2. A display case so i can show them off instead of hiding in a box... I know the boxes do look nice, but still...

As perspectives change from time to time, I like to stick to mainly the following:
- more vintage (zeros, frogskins, m-frames)
- more rarities
- displays

As previously mentioned by everyone, quality pieces and ones that impact you (eg holy grails) are the ones to go after this year

I will get Romeo 1's by the end of this year. Beyond that, I'd like to work on some more M-Frame setups...a lot more of the custom work...lens options.

Beyond that...who knows.

1. Keep my branch from closing - i.e - keep my job.

2. Keep on expanding the collection wherever I can.

3. Keep pushing the side jobs for cash.

4. Maybe start to use the treadmill we bought a few months ago...

1) dont get into more debt

3) be DEBT FREE

4. Stop buying colorways I am lukewarm about of new styles so much and wait for OCP options on them like a sane person
