wow... i never knew that about Bic pens... shocking! but yeah... i'm surrounded by Bic pens as well, no matter how many i have on my desk, by then end of the week they'll all be gone cos people use them and don't bother to put them back. then i have to go to the supply closet and get another batch.

William, you'll be scared of my audio collection... my headphones aren't that old, but i do have a Walkman (Personal Casssette Players) collection! they're all from my childhood days, i never bothered to throw them away; partly because they were mad expensive back then (always got the top of the line model) and sentimental reasons. i also have a pretty sizable Discman collection. i'll try to post pics a little later...

it's a quarter to five in the morning and i'm still surfing The Oakley Review... mind i only got home an hour ago though... ^_^

Yeah, can't wait to see them Bong. I used to collect discmans as well, but I moved so I blindly threw away a sh*t load of stuff like Air Jordans Olympics; Raybans; Transformers...so much junk, which maybe gold to some.

I did collect DVd's and Cd's..at one time over 1500 cd's but the same financial conditions that made me try to sell my Monster Dogs made me sell all but abt 350 cd's and 1/4 of my 300 dvd's..so the answer is..nothing right now..I tend to be a completist and am no longer able to complete much of anything..still...I sure would like a pair of Rootbeer/Gold Unknowns..maybe if the Dogs sell...

I mainly collect signed Movie and Music Memrobilia, but also have an extensive collection of HARD ROCK Cafe Shot Glasses and Logo Pins.
If anyone can help out with the later, I would be very grateful. Can't always travel to the 100+ cafes altough I have been to 40+

Thats a rather unhealthy interest in KMFDM you have there Dann. Two thumbs up. Is it just their music you collect or do you have any of the videos.

I have BeatxBeatxBeat, the DVD re-release of BeatxBeat, which has some more amateur concert footage and all the videos. I also got my picture on their tour journal from one of their concerts last year.

For those of you not in the know, that's me with their female singer, Lucia Cifarelli......yummy

Got that in Chicago this last year, been to 3 of their concerts so far.

As far as stuff I collect. I am big into debt, have all kinds of it.

Nope, nothing like that, just a crowd photo. I'm far bottom middle. The wife looks like she's eating my ear, but I think she was trying to talk to me.

Bong, I just got a pair of Shure e2's delivered last week. I like em slightly better than the sony fontopia's, even though they aren't as comfortable. do you use them?

personally i think the sony fontopia are the best headphones ever made. before they came out i used to get a sore ear from wearing headphones for too long at a time but now i can keep them in for an entire 12 hour plane journey and its pure comfort and amazing sound quality the whole time.
ive got a few sets just incase they stop making them.
genius i dunno why all companies dont do the same.

I'm using the Grado SR60s right now - absolutely amazing value, and great sound regardless of the cost. Only thing is they aren't great for travel.

Hey Bong - you ever see the Sennheiser Orpheus? Only $12,000 for a pair and the tube amp comes with 'em (and you thought Oakley was expensive)

I use Sony Fontopia headphones too. Love them. The first pair I had is no longer made but I upgraded to a better pair then. Now hopefully they stick around or I'll have to buy extras too. I even had an old Sony D-11 Discman. Not anymore, but I remeber it was huge compared to what's out now and it was an all metal body, real heavy.

Phil, your Optimus Prime reminded me that I have decent collection of old Transformers sitting in a box at my parents' house.

I had a bunch, but much like my MotU collection, it's gone...somewhere. I had a complete Voltron too, and stupid me gave it to my cousin who probably couldn't care less about it, and I'm sure his mom threw it out.

Voltron! Man, you guys liked all the same stuff I did. Dann, was yours the 5 lions or the other one with the vehicles? I had the 5 lions one. I think that's still at my parents' house, too.

It was the five lions, with the characters that rode in each. It was the full sized one too. Got the pieces from each relative for Christmas '85. I still have some things. My brother was better about keeping his stuff. He still has all his original Ghostbuster and Ninja Turtle stuff. I was able to score the entire Mad Balls series 2 a few years ago at an antique shop (was a crumby one). I have a few fliptron Transformers and all the Jurrassic Park toys from the first run except for Dennic Nedry and the big park set. Ah to be young and reckless with money...as opposed to old and reckless, but I guess I feel more guilt now.

Growing up I had Transformers, He-Man, loads of Star Wars and over 200 GI Joes. I had the Lion Voltron., diecast and large plastic with the figures. Even Thundercats and Insectors. MASK.

Sadly I don't have anything I grew up with now. I do have loads of new Star Wars and McFarlane toys in storage. I keep my Simpsons and a few scattered items around now, but I have pretty much stopped with action figures.
