Sorry if there is a similar thread somewhere else, but I after a quick check, I didn't see anything.

I was catching the women's cross country skiing even today (around 12:30 CST) and it looked like a couple of the women had on Oak's that I've never seen before. I think one of them was Olsson (SP?) from Sweden. They seemed to say Oakley on the side, but was hard to see. The other I can't remember the skier, but she had on a set of silver frames and besides looking like it said Oakley on the arm, it also looked like there was an "O" icon on the top of the bridge. Anyone else see these, know what they are, or if I'm losing what little of my mind I have left. Also, if there isn't another thread like this, please post any other possible new Oaks, mens or womens, you see during the Olympics.

Just saw a portrait of Jeremy Wotherspoon, I guess it will be available online tomorrow (will post a link then). It looked like he was wearing some kind of half framed scalpels with the logo's also tilted but more in a separate piece like the valve had back in the days...

Jeremy is a Kaenon sponsored athlete, not an Oakley One.

I watched the Short Track on Saturday night, and spotted multiple Radars, with one looking like it had the Jade Iridium. They were all customs of course, but did not appear to match the Countries of the wearers. One skater had a custom Red/Black Jawbone as well.

I noticed the South Korean short track skater was wearing what looked like Blue Iridium.
You could see the VR28 base when light came through from behind...

I suppose it could have been G30 too... it was pretty light.

@Robert yeah I think those were the ones. It was kinda hard to see so you're probably right. Plus I was busy doing other things so it's kinda hard to remember exactly.

I'm noticing not as many skiers or boarders wearing the goggles as last time. Lots of Bolle goggles though.

is there some olympic restriction as to the size of corporate logos on the athelete's gear? on ALL the oakley goggles i have seen worn by the competitors, the icon on the strap has been small. just glancing at oakley.com, there is not a google for sale with a small icon (not that i would want one... bigger is better).

Yep, there is indeed a size restriction. The small logo straps are not for sale. Some members were lucky enough to get themselves one from the last Winter Olympics.

If a company logo turns up to big on a competitors jacket that compete has to pay a big fine.

So I assume that this is why some athletes or organisator have some sticky tape on their strap. Now that is easier to understand.

I am not sure how many of you watched Lindsey Jacobellis during the X games but her Troy Lee Designs helmet has "Jacobellis" stretching from the chin beyond her ears. During the Olympics even this was covered up with snowflake like stickers. I was surprised to see this because it was her last name but there must have been some sort of regulation on it.

Correct and thus the small stretch icon on the goggle strap. This rule is also true in the summer Olympics.

Without the Oakley's she would not have done it!

Christine Nesbitt has won Canada's first speedskating gold medal, winning the women's 1,000 meters

Go Canada!!

Yeah, and for us Annette Gerritsen fell at the 500 meters. Despite her Oakleys :P
And was 2nd with only 0.02 seconds yesterday, however she seemed happy with it. Felt like a gold medal :) But I have to say she deserved it well to stand on the podium :)
About Nesbitt the dutch television had also a great portrait, she's a very nice person. Vid is in english: http://nos.nl/os2010/video/137953-portret-christine-nesbitt.html

EDIT: it is in Dutch till 30 seconds. After that it is english
