Interesting lenses, the actual lens tint is a purple that seems to take a shift to amber towards the sides, which I haven't seen before. Iridium coating is a vivid jade that fades towards blue at the corners. For trap/skeet/sporting clays, this is the lens. It flats out greens and makes bright orange/red clay targets stand out. It's a totally weird effect, basically anything that isn't orange/red gets completely flatted out. Great for what it's designed to do.

This lence is for Sporting Clay,Trap or Skeet shoting.It soft the green but it enahnce the orange so is more easy to see your target.This is not an everyday use lence.

This is a weird lens. I get the distinct impression that you lose some depth perception while wearing it. Even though it's billed as a shooting lens, I think I'd find it difficult to shoot anything on an unknown distance range while wearing this. Other than that, it does look pretty awesome.

I have these as custom cut in my Juliet carbon frames and man they look cool! Awesome! Almost everyones head turns when i'm appraoching. As everyone points out the lens is not that good for driving and colorblindness but I don't have any problems with driving with mine on at all. Red Tail lights can be seen more than ok and the green traffic lights are more than ok. They are good for overcast days and mild sunny but the only flaw I have for this amazing lens is I don't think they are performers in bright summer sun. But this has not stopped me wearing mine in the summer sun (only because they are so amazing!). Remarkably it's been fine so far and does not hurt my eyes.

I personally would not wear the G26 other than for its intended purpose - shooting. I find that it does wash out other colours (especially greens) too much - making the world monochromatic. Its not very comfortable on the eyes. It is, however, a nice lens to have for the sake of bragging rights and showing a little flash when you feel like it.

my favorite lens by far. I have a custom cut on a juliet with carbon and Im soon to make another one with a plasma frame. I heard they were illegal to drive with but I dont see what the big deal is. I do see abit of triple vision on certain angles but not enough to bother my driving. Im willing to sacrifice if the pair Im wearing looks kick a$$

true, true, and true enough. everyone here has pointed out that they look great, are used for shooting clays, and will cause temporary colour blindness. not much else needs to be said about 'em. but they sure are purty!

I had a set of these made for my Juliet and not for any purpose other than looking cool. I have not worn them much since I can't stand not seeing what they look like from head-on. A very exciting lens and really pops no matter what frame they are paired with. Do they cause temporary color blindness? I couldn't care less. When something looks this cool you just have to own it!

Really a shooting lens, but for daily wearing bit too agressive to your eyes. If you set you glasses down, after wearing them 'bout 2 hours or sth. like this, all will be green. They eyes have to acclimate the normal contrast, don't know if this will be healthy. But very unique, no other lense has such a coating, only 24K are coated like them. If you use them, you environment get "grey" a bit neon colored, but red is the color you can see miles away-shooting lens

Have them in my Juliets. The whole world just gets a little bit dull and grey. I can't see much difference in the colors red and yellow, they both stay as the were without the lens. Greens are very much filtered out, as it should. I just have it for the nice color it has from the outside, but I guess for people who take up shooting it would be nice. I have no problems with driving in these, the colors red and green are still very well visible.

Pretty neat. Got them for my M Frames. Really helps with clarity especially for overcast and marine layers. Be careful, because you may have color blind vision in these.

Fun lens to look through the world is pink and once your eyes get used to it, it provides an interesting contrast. You do not want to drive with these. Not only does it make all greens about the same color, but it makes all reds about the same color, which means you have to pay extra attention to brake lights becuase there isn't that much difference between a lit brake light and no lit.

these ARE for sporting clays. in most wing shooting environments, generly wooded and grassy areas, there are a multitude of shades and hues of green. this lense turns all those greens into one dark single color background, therefore making the opposite color, neon orange, the color of most clays, stand out like a searchlight in a pitch black night sky. there is no better lense for most wing shooting situations. with the exceptions of the sun being directly infront of you, low light or the clay is launched at and angle and it quaters away from you and all you see is the black bottem of it. and no, they are NOT safe for daily wear due to the effective green color blindness they cause. 4.6 stars.

I tried these on the other day and was impressed with Oakley's dedication to designing a single-purpose lens. While I only used them indoors, I imagine they'd make many skeet/trap shooters very happy.

Supposed to be a shooting specific lens,and looks about the most flash lens theve ever produced. You have to see it to believe it.

Crazy lens for sure. I just have a hard time respecting the "warnings" about using them for everyday use. Even with the color enhancements...I'd be sad if I couldn't tell if the light was green or red.

These are crazy shooting specific lenses ... they effect colors moreso than any other Oakley lens, highlighting orange and red colors brilliantly. For a little bit of trivia, you actually sign a waiver when you purchase these (they modify colors so much they're actually not suited for driving or daily wear).

This is a shooting lens and looks amazing, mostly green but goes all kinds of colours when the light hits it. I just wish they would make it for other models cos im never gonna get M-frames.
