Monster Dog Frame broken (05-013)... glue?

Hi O-Review

Oakley Costumer service could not give me an answer. Hence surgested I ask in your forum.

I like to know the chemical composition of the Monster Dog (05-013) frame. This is because I misplaced my newest Monster Dog (05-013) on top of my car ... and lost them... after I have been looking to buy a new pair, but as you know, they are out off production. Henced I looked in the basement in hope of finding something forgotten... and lucky me ... I found 2 pair of 05-013 almost non-used... but the frame was broken in between the lenses... I then remembered years ago squating with my Monster Dogs in the side pocket of my cargo pants... the other pair broke in my waist pocket when I fell during snowing conditions (wearing snow googles) while alpin skiing

both in between the lenses.

Well now to the question... to make the best possible glue of the frame(s) I need to know the kind of plastic etc. they are made of.

I guess somthing like Pattex and Loctite Super Glue, liquid could do the job, but I would like to be certain.

Also ... normaly the chemical Acetone
( https://www.britannica.com/science/acetone) is know to soften/desolve many plastics...

This trick in this video might do the job too... ???

Hi Dann

Thx for your surgestion.
Just to sure ... you are talking about a dowel joint, with a thin nail (without the head) as the dowel?

Like ex. two pieces of wood are joined?
Great idear!... just need to find a very slim drill bit for my Dremel drill.

Thx again
