Just returned from seeing this after reading the pretty decent reviews its received and the amount of money it made on its first opening day. The story line is fairly decent, the charters are believable and the effects are stunning. All in all I though it was a very good modern adaptation of a good old fashioned sci-fi movie, comparable to Aliens and maybe Prediator too. The sound track is very well done too, this type of movie should only be seen a modern hi-tech theater with a BIG screen and awesome sound system to get the best out of the effects. The denim of my pant legs were vibrating during some shots in the movie and the bridge scene made me feel has though I was on the bridge while it was moving...two thumbs up for me!

Just watched this on DVD. I would agree with the above review - but I have a 60" and it was perfect for this movie. Amaziing movie for their budget. In the Blair Witch style - but so very well done - I would highly recommend. There will be a sequel!

One of the most satisfying movies in recent memory. I was hooked after seeing the teaser trailer before Transformers, but then it got hyped up so I tuned out. I saw it on DVD shortly after its release and was pleasantly surprised. The special effects and the little bits of comic relief were fantastic, and the way the story played out was very entertaining. I do hope the rumored sequel gets the green light, as this film opens up a lot of unanswered questions.
