Very nice entry into the winter glove market. At first glance, I had mixed feelings about all the different materials and textures used on these gloves, but they look and feel good when they are on your hands. These are by far the warmest gloves I have ever owned. I don't get the feeling that cold air is leaking in through the seams. The silicone palm and finger grips are very effective. The silver silicone O icons on the cuff are a nice cosmetic touch.

Two noticeable differences are present between the production version and the picture shown on oakley.com (and the gloves pictured above, probably a rep sample?). First, the little loops on the cuff used to clip the gloves together are silver (either metal or painted plastic) on oakley.com, but plain black plastic on the production version. Second, the production version has an extended tab sewn to the inside of the cuff (palm side) with integral snaps that seem to be a bit redundant since the aforementioned loops are already there. I initially thought these tabs were only to keep the gloves together in the retail package (a heavy cardboard piece with a hole and metal grommet, the snaps join the gloves together through that hole). However, I realized that they were tightly sewn to the cuffs (i.e. not "tear-away") and actually part of the gloves. Although odd at first, the tabs actually come in quite handy when pulling the gloves on, and the snaps are much faster to use than the clip and loops.
