Also my first Oakleys. I loved the symmetrical look of the oval lenses. I never had a problem with breakage (maybe that was more prevalent in the original EJ generation?). My only (minor) complaint was that the arms squeezed around the head a bit tight; wearing them for extended periods of time wasn't entirely comfortable, but wasn't too bad.

Oakley would do well to re-release these; judging from the prices they fetch on eBay (especially for black ones), they would still sell extremely well as the look hasn't gone out of style (indeed, to me most of the more current styles out there are comparatively lame). I would say they (along with Juliet) are the quintessential "Oakley" sunglasses.

Alas, I lost my pair. I replaced them with Eye Jacket 2.0 which fit my head slightly better and also look cool...but as with relationships, you never forget your first...

I saw these on a local classified website and was trying to figure out why the FMJ looked more like a metallic paint color..

To my great surprise it was the Smoke SGH Exclusive model! in practically mint condition for a steal.

pretty happy with it. Classic Michael Jordan look, but the orbitals do touch my cheeks.

The originals were very popular while I was in high school, therefore, I always wanted a pair. After these were made in modern o-matter, they became a viable wearer pair. Unfortunately, they're too old to be cool, but not old enough to be retro just yet.

These are a solid 4. I wear them sometimes, but being semi vintage next to the original Eye Jackets, I wouldn't wear them all that much. The Pearl with Black Iridium is great for summer, they provide full eye coverage and are really comfortable to wear all day long. I particularly like that the fram flexes some for wider faces, but afraid to push them too far. Over all, I can't say that they will be in a display case anytime soon, but I'd rather have themn on hand than collecting dust. Freakin Awesome!

Bought this pair of Ebay about or two ago. My sister had a pair of the Minutes back in the day, so since then I'd always feel a nostalgic value with all the old school Oakleys. This is a great looking frame; it's a shame they don't really make a lot of spherical lenses anymore. They fit fairly comfortable, though I do agree they perhaps they wrap around just a bit too tightly around one's head, but I can deal with that. My only real complaint, which goes for most of the older Jacket models, is the lack of a rubber nose piece. Spending a hot day with hard plastic on your nose can get a little frustrating.

Other than that, a great looking and fitting frame.
