Recently lost this case and a Microbag. When I had it I found it especially good for my Straight Jackets and it had a smaller profile than the x-metal soft or the hard cases. I replaced it with a Square O Persimmon Hard Case and noticed the difference right away in size. I'll probably just grab another one on my next visit to a an o-store as they are not very much and provide excellent protection.

I bought this without knowing what I was buying. Now I wish that there were more out there for sale. It makes for a nice change when it comes to cases. I put my dartboards in it, and amongst all my other Large Soft vaults, they're easy to find.

Very nice vault to protect your more fragile frames. Very sturdy.

I have used a series of medium soft vaults to protect my A-wire thicks since 1999 and they have lasted 7 years so far. I attached a keychain w/ beltloop to the end of the zipper on the soft vault so I could always attach it to my belt, and with a quick pivot of the wrist I could open the soft vault one-handed. The zipper handles would eventually wear out after about a year from the constant movement, but $20/year is worth it to protect a pair of Oakleys. About 4 years abo, Oakley got 'cute' and atarted encasing the zipper head in rubber w/ the Oakley logo embossed into it, but I found that the eye of the zipper head is still there if you drill through the top edge of the "O"and then I could attach my keychain. I am about to move to the AP Case, though, because it will do what I want without dagling on my thight or wearing out annually.

The perfect case for just about everything except your x-metals. If you have a variety of Oaks, this is a great option for you. The only reason to get the smaller vault would be if you only want to hold the smallest of frames.
