Does anyone have a pair of glasses with slate iridium and another with black iridium in which they could do a side by side photo showing the differences. Which is more mirrored, darker, etc. I haven't had a pair with slate iridium for a while. I'm wanting to buy a new custom pair and was hoping to get a side by side pic to refresh my recollection about slate iridium. I haven't seen it in person in a while. Thanks for any help.

slate is a lighter based lens than black iridium, both are mirrored but the black is by far darker...

You can also sometimes at the right angles at with the right light see through the Slate and see a shadow of your eyes through the lenses.

I do remember that. I wish I would have never gotten rid of my slate lenses, I think I had them in some gascans a while back, but can't even remember the frame, dammit!

Slate is not the most flashy lens of course but very versatile in many situations and I would rather have slate than grey lens any day of the week !
