Don't what I made wrong but my memory pro stick duo has a hole in the middle! It was a produced by high temperature, that is what I can see. Don't know if my phone made it, or the optional card reader you got with. But so I have a reason to buy 1gb. for sure for watching movies or show other people oakley trailers. Mmmmmmhhh, think 1242 I can put into .3gp, yes! Haves sbd. an idea for getting mps duo for small price?

i'm using the same phone, never encountered problems in the phone or in the memory card. You can store a lot of oakley trailers for that 1 GB card.

Holy crap! I've got a K750i with a 1GB card in it. Hope this is just a fluke and nothing more. As for storing movies on it.. 1GB is way too much really.. When you convert vids to 3gp or Mp4 they end up tiny.. you could store a whole heap of full length movies on it if you wanted to. I've got mine crammed full of music(MP3's) mostly.

Put a nice full length movie on it then =)

ouch! i can't imagine the phone would have such a high temperature to cause a melting hole into the MS card. seems like a mystery to me.

i've been using my W800i all weekend, almost non-stop and didn't have any problems (knock on wood). i usually have mp3's crammed into my 1GB MS card, and leave enough room for candid photos.

how do you guys convert your movies and/or DVDs into the 3gp format? is there a freeware converter you guys can recommend? thanks in advance...

I been looking online and you would have to pay for a 3gp converter. Put it lets you convert some trial versions ie. only allows you to covert 3 or 4mins worth.

Am sure you could download free if you look hard enough.
Just google and type something like ''3gp converter''
