Don't worry, if you bought something from him, you can trust he'll keep his end of the bargain.

I don't think Ed would scam anyone. His feedback suggests he's a good seller.. :)

Last I heard from Maison was that Singapore has one of the cheapest and safest shipping options in the world. I ran a check on Singapore and found that she has one of the toughest laws & regulations in the world. You will be amazed at some their laws & regulations.

Anyway, the following is copied from one of his email replies to me on eBay when I enquired about why his shipping is sent out of Singapore.

"Canada shipping with tracking/registered mail to anywhere in the world, other than US: Minimum CDN$60 to CDN$80

Singapore shipping with tracking/registered mail to anywhere in the world: Approximately US$10 to US$15.

Paypal requires tracking in event of dispute. With postage from Canada, it is impossible to compete with sellers in the US which has USPS which is also rather cheap, considering that with tracking, postage in US to anywhere in the world is about US$30 onwards which is 50% of Canada shipping. To compete on the same level, I've no choice but to use a better alternative."

I'd say Canadaian shipping isn't too hot as well. A new pair of O's I should've gotten by now if it were sent from the US is... well, not here yet.

I bought a pair of Juliets from him. Paid a lot of money in postage and insurance for them, and they didn't show.

Claims he lost the tracking info. Was quick to refund my purchase price, but it still cost me $60US in postage for nothing. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

Hold on now. Three weeks? Isn't Canada right next door to the US? I can't even imagine how long it'd take to get down here in Australia.

Heat Vision: Opps... u are right. Me bad.

JohnT: Sorry to hear about it. I was thinking maybe Oreview could start a list for sunglasses with serial numbers that got lost. If it turns up in future, we would know that it was a stolen property. Anyone think it's possible?

Hmmm, I also bought a pair of carbon/24K's... What a coincidence. Still haven't received them either. As they come from Australia I have *some* patience though.

$300USD + shipping. So I paid a premium price. No proof of delivery as he claims to have 'lost' the shipping reciept.

Personally, I don't think he sent them. Oh well, what can you do? $hit happens!

Stuff from Australia generally takes a little over a week to get to North America, so I assume the time frame is similar to get to the Netherlands. Australia Post is pretty efficient.

That's funny.. Lost the receipt?? How careless is that? Maybe he just gained US$60 for selling nothing! Sorry to hear that John..

PEP: How long has it been now? I've bought something from Aussie and it reached me in UK in about 10 working days.

I paid $305 for the carbon/24K's excluding shipping. The package was sent on June 13th so I guess any day now I might receive it. Pretty anxious, I must admit.

Didn't even know this price was a "premium", I actually was pretty happy with it as you don't see them a lot on e-bay. Usually the polished/fire, plasma/ice, ichiro/emerald combo's are pretty common.

Oh well, as long as one is happy with it the price is of second importance ;-)

U can say whatever u want Nath as long as u're happy but keeping quiet does not necessarily make a person a scaredy cat... A scaredy tiger more likely!! =p

"This is what u call a tiger claw!". "A tiger paw?"

Yessss, today the package from Eakaz arrived, containing a beautiful pair of Carbon 24K Juliet glasses!

Here some preliminary images:

Nicely packaged, glasses are new, serialnumber doesn't mean anything to me. Just played some tennis with them in the sun, great glasses!

Thanks guys! Well, actually I was soooo relieved to actually see the package arrive after some horror stories on this forum. The seller was very nice with his responses and so on that I almost couldn't believe that this would go wrong. Luckily, it didn't. I am *very* happy with these glasses!
