believe it or not, they are a Keystone prototype lens. David sent me the blanks like a year or so ago, and they have been collecting some serious dust...Doing the ott's yesterday made me remember I had them, and they work awesome. I know it goes against my foreign lenses in Oakleys, but they aren't my frames, I won't wear an OTT anyway, and they are SICK!!!!!!!!!!!
maybe? I have never touched or seen an antix, so I have no reference to base it against...I would guess the M Frame, but honestly have no idea at this point........I will try to go see some and let you know.
nice man.. i realy need to get me an eye jacket frame, to put my new old stock red lenses in...
love the gold clear.. ithink that would go nice in the cheetah print.
Ok, in case it wasn't obvious enough, I'm the member that got the pink iridium split thumps from Dr. Chop.
This guy is good. DAMN GOOD. Until now, all of my custom lenses have been made by a guy that I know who is an optometrist. He has done all of my customs with one of his machines at the shop, and I've been really happy with his work. Recently, he injured himself pretty badly, and is out of commission for a little while.
Enter Dr. Chop. I had been chatting with him for a bit about a few other things, and as normally happens with me, late one night, I got the brilliant idea to do a custom split thump. Before the night ended, I had sent the money through, and the project was a go.
When I saw the pictures that he posted, well, you can see above, they look awesome. When I got them in my hands. Well, they were even BETTER! Now I've popped the lenses out and inspected them, and man, they are really freaking good. The edge work is top notch. You can bet that I'm going to be getting more stuff done by Dr. Chop, even when my optometrist buddy gets going again.
Thanks again, Josh. The work you did was amazing, and the turnaround time was super quick too.
Not a problem bro. Thanks for the praise as well. I try to make sure they all come out good. Occasionally they give me grief, but I work around it or make it right (I have a pair to fix soon), but all in all, I do my best. I put more effort into projects for members than anyone else since most don't notice or appreciate the details.
