Hey guys, could anyone help with the following:

I have most of my music on my PC stored via sonic stage for a sony mp3 player. I have now bought a K750i with MP£ function but dont know how to get the music files from sonic stage to the k750.

Can I load them directly on to the phone via the disc to phone software?

Can I transfer the files from sonic stage to MS media player.

Can I transfer the files to a memory stick through a card reader and play them on my phone that way?

Thanks in advance guys. I should just daved everyone a lot of hassle and spent all my cash on the O instead of all this different technical crap:-)

hey William... i'd imagine any audio files you have on the HD5 is stuck in there. IIRC Sonic Stage is like the roach motel. audio files go into the Network Walkman but can't come back out.

as for the K750, if it is anything like my W800 (and i'm sure it is), if you loaded up all the drivers and software for the phone on your computer, connect the phone with the USB cable, and it should appear as a removable drive in your Windows Explorer. then just drag and drop your mp3s to that drive, but make sure your mp3s are nestled in these folders, or else the K750's music player will not be able to play them:

J:\MSSEMC\Media files\audio\Primal Scream\Screamadelica\Higher Than The Sun.mp3

of course drive J is just an example, could be different on your computer, and you might not want to listen to Bobby Gillespie's masterpiece on your K750, i just have that for example's sake.

hope this helps!

oh, and yes, you should get a card reader instead... much faster than through the phone.

doesn't Sony's Atrac format needed to be converted to MP3 first or it would never recognize it all together?

Justin, just the help I didnt need. Someone else pointing out the error of my ways. LOL

Bong, thanks for the help. I guess I will just need to put my entire CD collection on to media player as well as sonic stage. I do have a card reader. Apart from being faster I take it that wont help my predicament any more?

One more question. If I load 20gb worth of music onto sonic stage and media player, I take it this will use up 40gb of my hard drive????

Again thanks everyone
