Hate to admit it, but I passed up on a pair of nice +Red Radars this past weekend. I was on a road-trip with friends in downtown Washington DC, and stumbled upon a couple pairs quietly collecting dust in the back of a cabient in a sporting goods store. No money in the budget to afford them, and the Radar style really doesn't suit me anyway, but it still pained me to leave them behind.

Pics of the 2nd +Red Juliet lens I just cut tonight

I love the colors in these, rich dark reds and purple to dark blue at certain angles. I got real lucky finding this lens!!

and I don't have 2 different color/types of lenses in pic below it's the same lenses just took pic from different angle.

Have another +Red coming in Wed. and a couple more already taped so I'll be busy for a little while at least.

So ... to the choppers, the big question is this: can you cut a Radar Path lens from an M-Frame Heater? Then we could all have +Red Radars!

yeah, leave it to the mad scientists to think of everything...
so you are saying it can't be done then, even with a little dremel work? That's too bad. I was really hoping to make a Metallic red/+red Radar. :-(

the problem is the "teeth" that hold them in...The M Frame is in a different position and they are already cut, you can't replace what is gone to modify it...

it is so hard to get the Metallic Red / +Red lens Radars. I was trying to find one for months. I saw one on ebay but it ended around $300.

I checked the number of fellow o-reviewer who have it and only 6 members have them listed, two of them owned by Yoko.

It seems like it's more rare than the Flores gascans.

MyOaks....you have the sweetest Juliet I have ever seen (and I own an X-serial number with the really deep purple-red lenses and those have been well and truly kicked into touch) a great triumph for the master of all things choppy!
