No, just didnt look above far enough before I posted. I thought it was a release pic. I think Mike wants the lip around the face to be something other than red...silver or black perhaps.

If you look at the black version, just replace the black with red.

if you keep the Red contained to the flat surface of the face and don't take it past the hour and minute dots around the edge.
On the Silver face not past the black inner line connecting the hour markers together...still with me.

I was playing a game of Golf Today with a few guys, whom were friends of a mate. The subject of my TT came up from my mate asking why i wasn't wearing it. I said it was in my bag...after which i took it out to show the other guys.

reaction 1: "it looks like a track or a tank track "

reaction 2: "that things a TANK"

My response: Funny you should say that, Thats what it was called a Time Tank, now they call it a stupid minute machine.

Now niether of these gents had ever seen or heard of the TT and it was the first time they had seen one, and that was thier reactions.

yes, they're interchangeable (as a few members already did the swap) and no, Oakley won't sell either bands seperately... believe me i asked. :(

I went to the O-Store today to adjust my brand new "Time Tank" (I am calling it that because that is what is says on my box and manual). The sales guy said they can order the black leather band for $100. But, they don't sell the titanium band. I will post pic of my watch soon.

I called HQ a month or two ago and after talking to a few people I was quoted $400 for a titanium band. No one I talked to had said anything about them not being available to buy.

I remember that Sands...$400 for a band = LOL

But remember it is Titanium....and makes up a good portion of the Watch itself. $400 for the band seems kinda logical to me since the whole watch is $1195...that leaves $795 for the case and movement. Now the movement is nothing outstanding, the watch is bought more on looks than on the quality of it's movement.

bringing up an old thread here, i purchased a titianium tt today and i want to get the leather band as well. do i just call up telesales to order one? does anyone know the part number? thanks for the help

Yes - telesales should be able to help you. I do not have the part number on hand, but you have to remember that you need the links as well. I do not think they are incl with the band itself....just a potential heads up.
