I was wondering if some ouf you guys could help me please?

I've been offered a set of splatter M-frames. I've had a look on the site and can find them on the catalogue and in some colllections but i'm not sure what they guy is claiming is right?

He claims that these are special because they are:

Hand-painted - i thought all splatters were?

Limited to 50 pieces only - is that true?

Frame is carbon - could that be true?

He paid $500 for them back in the day - '88 or so, i thought they were listed at $180

So what do we think, any of it or all of it true?

I bow to your collective superior knowledge, i'm not so hot on the glasses watches are more my thing.

Like all sellers he may be exaggerating or just simply unclear on the details. I know the Rosa Surf RazorBlades/Blades where hand painted. The Ms were more of a mass produced item at the time. Maybe they were hand painted, but in a mass market fashion. So there goes the limited to 50 thing. Carbon, No. Unless he's refering to a Carbon Fiber paint job frame. And $500, doubt it. If they had a higher price it would have been just higher than retail at the time, but only a bit over $130 then.
