As you can see, lots of cool cars. One annoying thing however was when women in skimpy outfits blocked my view of the cars:

My personal favs are the Toyota FT-HS (white sporty car on 2 pics) and the new Maserati. Such a beautiful car... I wondering that you've not shoot the new Skyline, I've read that it also was shown there (and on the pics I saw that one is a beast!).

Ju, I saw the new Skyline and was underwhelmed. Plus, with the crowd around it, a pic was virtually impossible. It was a great show.

Puleez, Rick, don't you tower above all there?!? Despite any crowd, you should be able to get an A+ pic.

TOO bad on the women- I take it that was an 08 Dodge Charger SRT8 being blocked in the picture? I love that car- I have an 07 Magnum SRT8!!!

I love the SRT's. By far, the show stealer. Double the US price over here. I'm in the market for either the Magnum or 300. Still trying to decide.

Rick - how many pix do you usually shoot at car shows? Still shooting the XTi?

Yeah, I shot a lot at that show. Over 400. I am still using the Rebel XT, with a Tamron lens. I was impressed how it handled some of the challenging lighting conditions in the show.

Car shows are sooo tricky. I always shoot without flash, as it ruins the pic. But sometimes you get screwed due to the longer exposures. I mainly use my 24-105F4L IS lens...and it is great as the image stabilizer really helps a lot...

anybody see the oakley sticker on this car ???
