Yeah and has anyone checked out an "Armani Exchange"??? WHAT A PIECE OF &*^!%$ !!! If Oakley becomes like that , (how wierd to think,..) it will be like the end of the sunglass wearing world to me,... what else can i wear like an Oakley, . . .NOTHING!!! Also I hate the idea, that since Oakley and Lux were kind of battling for sales/style domination, in all markets, that ?????Oakley "lost"?????? (shakes head in disbelief)

More infor on the kick off:

2 more AC Hijinx were "recieved locally" that night,.......AHHH WHAT A SHINDIG! I only say this cause, . . ahh nevermind lol(wink)

P.S. there was a very attractive young girl there( Oakley chick ^^), and i talked to her for a bit, then inadvertently introduced myself to her parents, as i thought they were Oakley "officials" cause the guy was wearing "ACs" it was embarrasing, and the father was eyeing me all night, . . . and he should have been cause she was cute! haha jk,.... kind of ^^.

Front of the "venue" nice place.

The band there " hot IQs" with a hot ass asian drummer chick that wailed!

The display of the AC's that night

and "AHHHHHHHHHH YEEEEAAAAAHHH!"

Some one should link a pic of one from their collection,.... that would help the most. I know it is an original hybrid lens,.. I used to sell then, when they first came out,.. and it was my favorite shaping. Essentially the top of the lens is wider than the bottom right? If so,.. thats the original hyb. :)

Just a side thought sort of related,.... did you know that a crosshair will fit into a small wire vault,.. the one they call a "torpedo" Ijust think that is cool. :)

I prefer wires above O matter in almost every way; yet there are some O matter frames like the "Plate, OTT, Oil Drum, Moon, that I can appreciate due to design.

To reply to the ruby question,.... YES IT IS!,.. however, some interesting thoughts on it,.. I checked out the website, And Ruby seems to be about $325 for a set b4 shipping. ???? Seems a little low priced, and feel free to come over and shoot me for complaining, but I wonder why. Have they improved the composition, or processing time? or is R&D all paid up?

Also the thump 2/ Gascan lenses ARE slightly different in geometry, but still fit,.. So a educated phone salesperson will probably advise against it, or refuse the request. BUT, Why not try. :)

You guys should count your blessings,. now you have a chance to customize a bit, make some sick combos; b4 Oakley "releases the same custom colorway you just had customized. :) :( Its happened to me lol. On my life,.. I had dremeled my first R1 low serial about 5 months after I bought it to look " more puzzle piecey" And then Oakley released the XX Ti 02,.. lol

Yeah the R1/R2 have some great styling,... but a for a great overall styling/wearability type of glass the Juliet beats all, ( And recorded sales tracking since launch proves it :) )

Well in response to rick. True and not true for myself at least. I have done lots of work that i regret, however there is alot of work that I prize,... this pair without the etching, (as it once was),..... was a better faxcimile(< spell?) should have taken pictures :( but I will just buy a $60 pair and do it again for good.

And thank you for the kind comments, I enjoy doing that which is "unadvisable" <wink>

I retrospect, I'd rather not have put the etching in, I like the way it looked without it,.. and a "new" zero prolly wouldnt have it considering there hasn't been an etched pair in like 8 years. I will buy another dart B lg and redo it. And,.. I just got another idea lol, it never ends

I think the beauty is your choice of design is relatively limitless, aside from vertical dimension( Oakley lenses are only so "tall"),.. for example it would be difficult to emulate a 0.3 (I've tried, and to no avail)

yeah,.. dremel+Dartboard+Nail files+Bordem =^

to summarize,.... Why do you have to be like that?. How many posts do you see with only 3 words? You just have the attention span of a wet cd,.... just jealous of the skill lol.

I am drunk,....BTW.

But I have good news, and beside saving money on insurance there is a " new 0.1" coming soon to the review. It is not an Oakley release,(though I wish they would, maybe I will give them Ideas,.. lol). I thought that given the 0.1s' smaller profile, smaller orbital design, with Oakleys' new wave of straighter lines, and "stealth like squared efficiencies",... A new zero would take on these such characteristics.

Disclaimer: (not a joke) This change in Oakleys' design for the corresponding product, and only this product in question, is solely a private modification of purchased product; and therefore is no indication of new release, or design direction for the above named Oakley Inc. This and all other information, of any nature may be disolved at the discretion of O-review moderators and the like, as well as Oakley Inc. officials and the like; as O-review values relation with Oakley Inc. and their affiliates.

Note: If this disclaimer is not necessary, then please consider it as a joke, or just really creative Oakley babble. :P

I will be showing pics of my version of a new 0.1 in a few days. I think they are SICK AS HELL,.... But you decide.

wow,... nice accent ^ lol jk. I have not as of yet,.. however it sounds like a nice lens. Is it "total-o" ?? by chance cause with that guy I would say anything is possible. Send a message to him for clarification, He could just be mis-describing Amber black POL.

And as the above said, could be a goggle lens, but prolly if it is not a goggle you are bidding on.
