Good luck on the ducati collection Yukio~ Of all ducati lineup... I only have the SJ...lolz. I want to help, but the SJ is kind of sedimental from my study abroad Italy.
Just curious, are you planning to get both the X metal and the carbon ducati Juliet??

Hey guys. I'm thinking of getting the toolbox 2.0 for summer motorcycling. I just want to know if any of you have ever try to fit a full face motorcycle on this backpack? and does it fit well?

I'm sorry to hear that man...that really sucks. Interestingly though, I've dealt with the same seller you had on ebay...for a pair of Ti clear dartboards, and they were alright.

Has anyone ever had to contact ebay or paypal for transaction problems where your item didn't come in? And did you actually get your money back? just curious in case it ever happen to me~

Oakley is doing pretty well internationally. Any country that is active in motorsport, would definitely have some knowledge of this brand.

Oakley is endorsed by Nicky Hayden on motogp, and of course the ducati team. It is worn every race weekend by top formula one drivers as Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen, Felipe Massa.....and yes JPM. but hey...his signature spike series is really nice~ and the splice too.

Extreme sports...you name it. Oakley's there. A lot of ppl know the brand, the only thing is they never tried them on to compare to their cheaply built designer sunglass.

so now we know that O matters are definitely made in USA since it's printed on them. And apparently so are X metals. so does anyone know which wires are made in the states and which are not?

I am hoping for some sort of boxing week sale, as I'll be checking out both oakley stores.

Another amazing deal is the mercury/ti clear hatchets. $130 cdn

It's really too bad they just don't suit me. Might have bought it if I didn't have my Juliets.

basically, aside from my wires. Most of the O matter are made in USA, and it's good to know the x metals are as well.

Yah, most of my apparel and footwear are made in China. And it would be nice to know all oakley eyewear are made in the states...but still....the most important part to me is really the lense being made in the states.
When health comes into play (e.g. food, water, medicine, eyewear) I get a little sketchy about the stuff made in China~

Thanks for the welcome and explaining all this to me~ I've been around browsing around for half a year, but only recently joined not too long ago.

Just like another member here, After coming to this site...well... I've been getting obsessed, 1 pair of oakley a month. It's not that impressive, but I am only a university ("college" in the states) student and can only get by with that after my rent and girlfriend and my other expensive hobby for motorcycles.

I'm proud to say my family and friends are slowly catching the oakley flu as well. :)

I just had to share this deal with people in Toronto.
I was on my way to purchase a $25cdn trucker hat from oakley, since I saw it last time. Went back today which is 2 weeks later, they were really cheap $6!!! I swept 3 of them, 2 for me and 1 for my younger brother. There were many styles none of them get above $12.

everyone here seems really friendly, but I'm sketchy when it comes to money. Has anyone really purchased or trade with another member here?

okok~ I absolutely understand what you mean...honestly...most of those lux brands sunglasses can be produced at less than $5 and being sold at ridiculous prices for what it's worth. I myself bought 2 pairs of lux brand for the design...and one of them didn't last long due to poor quality...the other...let's just say I'm too spoiled by oakley to get them near my eyes again.

o-static: "waching young kids waering those big @$$ sunglasses thinking they are superstars or whatever."

Sorry for being an eyesore, but I am one of those kids with big sunglasses. The only reason I purchase my polished/black iridium dartboard is to appear as one, ...that and knowing they're manufactured from the best sunglass company :). Might I add Spike n' Oildrum being among the big lense fashion forward oakleys that I want to buy once my next paycheck comes in.

back to the thread:
my eyes went in tears when I watched my friend broke my first oakleys back in grade 9. >.<

I've never seen that colour combo being worn by kimi though, I know one of the members here have it. The one he wears to the race weekend appears to be chrome/vr28 black iridium.

so far I bought everything he wore, aside from gascans which I just don't like that much. Coz I'm also a kimi too! what he wore gave me the fuel for more oakley addiction

Zik, if you don't like the titanium iridium lense. really...what would you have wanted?

Jerel, are you related to kimi? lolz. or is it a common finnish last name?

I'm pretty sure Oakley have looked into Ferrari sigs, or maybe even kimi. The biggest problem is probrably getting the copyrights of using their names.

Trying to picture oakley on next year's Ferrari, maybe they can replace the vodafone sponsor~ ^-^ But honestly, as much as I am a Ferrari and oakely fanatic. The Mclaren colour scheme seems to be more suitable for the O

thanks o-static. yah I have to agree, Montoya sig oakleys are really nice. When I saw that his Mclaren poster with splice...just stared at it for hours.

Oakley should really think about a kimi sig, since he wear oakleys often this year. And while they're at it, why not a Ferrari line up as well...just like the ducati.

Since even Felipe Massa wears oakley during race weekends.
