As a few of you may have noticed, I'm not on here much anymore. After buying a wakeboard boat and getting engaged, O collecting has taken a backburner to other things. I simply don't wear these guys at all anymore and could use the funds for other toys.
Ti band...Black face is SOLD
The other is the now hard to find Titanium face, Brown Leather band. It was only worn once or twice and is in like brand new condition. All boxes, paperwork, etc are included....$400

I accept paypal, etc...if anyone has any questions, shoot me a pm or an email. Thanks!

While scouring the web, I came across some info on the maker of the Minute Machine insides...just FYI

RONDA startech,
World First:
Big Date Quartz Chronograph with 3 eyes

Calibre 5040.B (B = BIG DATE)
4.40 mm / Swiss Made / 13 Jewels / Gilt

Chronograph functions
- 1/10 sec. up to 30 minutes
(first 30 seconds running continuously)
- centre stop-second (1/1 sec.)
- 30-minute counter and 10-hour counter
- ADD and SPLIT functions
- pushers with perceptible click

Movement functions
- hours, minutes and small seconds
- BIG DATE calendar at 12 o'clock
with direct change from 31 to 01

The RONDA startech is the first of an entirely new and revolutionary generation of chronograph movements: the first quartz chronograph movement with Big Date, three counters and a centre stop-second.

Measuring 12 1/2''' / 4.40 mm, the modular concept of this unique gold-plated, 11-13 jewel metal movement means that the same sized movement is also available as a classical chronograph with three counters and a regular calendar at 4 o'clock and, another world first, a Big Date chronograph with a single two-hand counter at 6 o'clock indicating 30 minutes and 12 hours.

This versatile and innovative movement offers an entirely new range of possibilities to watch companies and comes equipped with an above-average 48-month battery.

RONDA, a family-owned company founded in 1946 with more than 1700 employees worldwide, is renowned within the watch industry for developing solutions tailored to both market and customer needs. The company produces a complete range of quartz movements from 3 3/4''' to 12 1/2''' for ladies' to sports watches including an exciting new mini movement which can be seen on

I would agree also that the "elite" watch is probably the Time bomb II...can't wait for that to surface!

I've actually already seen several of those watches...really cool that your friend owns one. The Bell and Ross Br01-92 Heritage is damn sweet, or the power reserve...god I'm lusting...

Yeah, I wouldn't mind tracking down a spare brown leather band so I can have a spare. I just managed to track one down, but I wear it, so having a backup band would be nice!

I've noticed after checking various places online and also at Ostores/vaults and it seems like there are two versions of the Unobtanium band. I've seen a few that look flat and smooth (similar to the leather band) and I've seen a few that have vertical "valleys" that run the length of the band. Can anyone confirm this for me?

I've been strictly Oakley for eyewear for years and years, but recently am toying with picking up a pair of the Oliver Peoples "Victory" glasses that Michael Weston wears in Burn Notice. Uber cool aviator style glasses. Too bad Oakley didn't make an inmate-like style that had just a little less wrap, and more vintage look....

Not the only purchase in the last month or so, but the only big one. Million thanks to a cool member for helping me out on this one. Tank #3, brown leather band. I must say, that while it just may be that it's new, but I think I may be partial to this over my Ti bands. Also, I can't believe the weight difference between this and the Ti band. Whoa, never realized how heavy that sucker was!

I usually explain to them that I collect Oakley. Then tell them how limited pairs, artist pairs, etc have become valuable. Most people seem pretty cool with it, since shoe collecting has become so popular. Not to mention, if anyone sees my displays in my living room, the usually reply with "badass" or "this is cool as hell"...and of course I eat up all the envy! lol

I had kittens yesterday when my beater pair of 'frios fell off my hat and hit the floor (not a mark on them) but it definitely put an end to the fun for a good hour while I inspected them! I seriously have such a complex about keeping my stuff in pristine condition...

I agree, while I like "who is this kid", I too think there were far better ones in the contest...
