O.T.T. You can try www.steptoes.co.uk or www.isyte.com Just give them a ring.
Should be slightly cheaper then what you were quoted.
I'm new to this site so I dont know if im allowed to advertise other companies on here.
Apologies if that is so.

Hi just want to tell you my RX story.
I originally brought Square wire 3.0 RX with grey transition lenses with AR coating. I had reflection and glare problems with these lenses. I would get ghosting when looking at my pc and glare when standing under artificial light.eg. fluorescent light. Therefore they were sent back. Oakley told me to go for the Whiskers as they had a lower base curve, but they do not suit me at all, so they let me go for the Nanowire 1.0, but Oakley could not guarantee I would not have reflection and glare problems. This was all done via my optician, who thought there shouldnt be a problem with the nanowires as she had never heard of the problems i was getting before. So after a few weeks I received my nanowires. First thing I noticed was the lenses are really thick, about 3mm. I still get the glare issues under artificial light, but not so much ghosting.
Another problem is that I cant see as well compared to my bottle rocket 4.0 which have the same prescription !?!?!?
BTW my RX is -0.75 SPH in both eyes.
Anyone else had these problems before ??
Sorry for the long message.
Thanks

How thick should RX Nanowire lenses be ? Mine seem to be really thick. Mine are about 3mm thick.

Are there any pics of the Nanowire 4.0 ?

Yeah i guess people buy Oakley for their more distinctive styling. I'm more then happy with my Nanowire 1.0 though.
My next pair will be a RX Ti Square Wire i think.

Just got some Nanowire 1.0 RX with grey transition lenses.
Originally had Square wire 3.0 with transition lenses, but due to reflection problems, i was allowed to upgrade to Nanowire. Lucky for me.
These are well light, but maybe better in other tints.
There doesn't seem to be many people with Nanowires on here. Are they not very popular ?
