Not sure how editorial within each company decided on who fought whom for any of the fights (but they do mostly seem logical pairings in terms of fanbase), but the ones the fans got to vote on are:
-Batman/Captain America
-Wolverine/Lobo
-Storm/Wonder Woman
-Superman Hulk
-Spider-man/Superboy

The rest of the fights' outcomes where determined by creative (Green Lantern/Silver Surfer, Flash/Quicksilver, Aquaman/Namor, Catwomen/Elektra, etc.) - Oak

The key question is, Who remembers the Amalgam Universe that followed the crossover? Anybody want to see more of Dark Claw and Super Soldier? How about the JLX?

Down in Vegas this week, and was finally able to make it out to the Vault and o-store (and In n Out). Both stores had the Red Diamond Minute Machine on hand. It was great to be able to see it in person. The staff at the vault, as truly nice and engaging as they were, also hustled me pretty good to purchase the MM. Even so far as to offer me a trade value on my Hollowpoint I was wearing. Still a fun visit, more so than most Vault visits. And I was finally able to snag the Vegas exclusives (hard case, Microbag, some tees).
If anyone has silly cash you want to dump into my PayPal account pronto, I would be happy to serve as your crazy purchasing proxy. - oogie

Oogie, I didn't know you were after Vegas exclusive stuff. I live here so I am always willing to grab it for people no premium necessary. If you want to meet up quickly before you head out let me know!

I'm not blaming the store but just curious as to why they'd let one person buy them all? - yelkao

Pressure to make sales goals. - Defenderoftheo

So sad... and if they have any loyal collectors that shop that location, they might have just cost themselves future sales...

Not sure if I'm just THAT loyal, but I purposely purchase the majority of my eyewear at my Home Bunker. Vaults are different, because I shop DE or sale items... I feel bad about not support my Home Bunker, that supports me. I make a point of only buying AFA at other O Stores that my Home Bunker doesn't have. - H01B3RG

The Town Square Store took care of me and got me a store front on their re-stock. Manager clarified and said that person who told me all 8 were sold to the same person was incorrect. They took care of the collectors that did not get them on first order.

They are a great store!

My normal store said they weren't getting them in until after Black Friday. They came in early and one guy bought all 8 before noon today.

I've never seen that Sabertooth sticker. It is awesome. I would love to find that and the old Warning triangle sticker

Hi Bryan,

Did many of your models come in a box with a white outer sleeve box with the Oakley logo?

Looking around I see some models do and some don't but these have usually passed through a couple of owners so was wondering if this was just depending on the previous owner?

Thanks,

DSJ - DSJ

The ones in white boxes as Greg said are 1:16th scale. They are the only ones that came in white outer boxes. Most of those also had a graphic inner sleeve as well. The others just came in graphic sleeves/boxes. I am guessing most have gone through multiple owners by now. On the 1:16th scale ones you will want to be careful as well because the manufacturer had issues with paint durability if I remember correctly.

Finally got them all unboxed after the move..... As I mentioned before there is one missing I believe the Gary Scelzi Time Bomb car was a 2003 model and looks the same as the Cannon one, but red on the back quarter panels.

The bike is 1:9 scale if I remember correctly - GRFMotorsports

I think you are correct. I was tired when typing the list and meant to leave that one blank because I couldn't remember the scale on the bikes.

The Time Bomb as 2002 sounds right, I Scelzi won the championship in 2004 and Cannon was no longer driving funny car at that point. They were all made by other companies, but obviously Oakley had to sign off for licensing purposes.

Dann, I will work to get you info and SKUs off the boxes when I get them set up.

I found some pictures of my previous display on my Facebook page. Here is a list of the cars. I do not have the exact years at this point, but should help.

Scotty Cannon - Yellow Mater - 1/24th scale
Scotty Cannon - Red Mater - 1/24th scale
Scotty Cannon - Mad Scientist - 1/24th scale
Scott Cannon - Mad Scientist Bike - 1/24th scale
Scotty Cannon - Idea - 1/16th scale
Scotty Cannon - Elite Special Forces - 1/16th scale
Scotty Cannon - Sleep Tight - 1/16th scale
Scotty Cannon - Time Bomb - 1/16th scale (black body)
Gary Scelzi - Time Bomb - 1/16th scale (red body)
Gary Scelzi - Oakley Hemi (lightning pattern) - 1/24th scale
Gary Scelzi - Snow Camo - 1/16th scale
Gary Scelzi - Night Camo - 1/24th scale
Gary Scelzi - Puzzle Minute Machine - 1/16th scale
Gary Scelzi - Carbon Fiber - 1/24th
Gary Scelzi - Oakley Mopar (red camo) - 1/24th

As a side note there is also a die cast version of the Nascar truck that Ricky Carmichael ran several years back and a die cast version of Jack Beckman's Infinite Hero funny car. There is also a pewter cast version of Cannon's Mad Scientist car out there, but that one is extremely rare.

I believe there are a few missing from the list. I have 14 specifically of the Oakley Funny car/bike. I know I am missing 1. Unfortunately I am in the middle of the move so all of the cars are boxed up for another week or so. I can work to get you a full list in about a week.

I noticed an Oakley Backpack being carried by Paul Rudd in Ant-man. Could not tell exactly which one, because I could not pause movie in theater. Makes me wonder in costume featured Oakley lenses?

That being said, I certainly hope that since it is friends and family. We do have the ability to forgo using the code for ourselves and instead give the code to a friend or family member we are trying to introduce the glasses to.

Trying to recall the first O para cord keychain that I picked up when it came out. It had a different clasp, right? Definitely a fun little piece. - oogie

Had that one as well, the hinge broke after six months. Wish I had kept it clean instead of using it so much.

Anyone have more info about this program. It was mentioned to me and I did a Google search and found the site. It is currently in Beta, but appears if you register you get 1 point for every dollar spent at O Stores/oakley.com and 1 point for every $2 spent at Vaults/oakleyvault.com.

It is a good sign that we could get something extra for supporting the brand.

I agree with Dann. The trophy is awesome, but the signed badge is something special, especially considering how much most of us collectors respect Takumi's work
