I have no doubt as the owner of the Tour of Nevada Bicycle Shop said about Lance a former rider in the Nevada City California Bike Race when I asked him years ago "All professional athletes take whatever they believe they can get away with."

My problem with the persecution of some of the star athletes in the United States is what lengths and at what expense the authorities have gone to. Does any citizen think that going after Barry Bonds or Roger Clemens or Marion Jones made our country a safer better place to live? Not to mention the colossal waste of tax dollars. In Lances case one press guy made a salient point. The French hated Lance. If they could have proved he doped nothing would have pleased them more.

I have little doubt Levi Lepheimer, and one of the most respected cyclists in the peleton George Hincapie (see defenders comments) doped also. How fair was a deal in exchange for testimony against Lance that let them finish the TDF and race in the US PRO Cycling Challenge while USDA went after Lance? While I personally am saddened that I believe Lance did risk his cancer recovery health by using PEDS, coming after him seven years after the fact is wrong. Do any of you believe the average NFL offensive or lineman is genetically gifted to weigh over 300 lbs? We pillory the cyclists and turn the other cheek for the other sports.

Excuse me I have to go watch some preseason NFL football.

Very classy move Mr George. Not interested in winning them though besides Rick needs them more to deflect the sun from his balding pate....

Any one purchased Oakley's subsidiary ESS system sunglasses?

I just purchased a Crossbow replacement frame and "hi def copper lens".

http://www.esseyepro.com/Crossbow_detail.html#_accessories

The frame ran $16 and lens $28 w/ nose piece.

The fit is better than the radar.

I'll put the "ClearZone FlowCoat technology" claim of non fogging to the test on the trail run next Wed that precedes our annual day of hand to hand combat training.

Jeremy is a Kaenon sponsored athlete, not an Oakley One.

While I'm not familiar with this site the price caught my eye.

ezcontactsusa.com

X-metals are to heavy for me, but perhaps this helps on the price.

Any Clue what the material is in the buckle of the holeshot unobtanium strap. I never had allergic reactions to metal...until the stealth holeshot buckle. Can't wear it.

The answer to the Mark Cavendish Jaw Bone lens color question is right on Oakley's website. Go to community>videos> and look for the video featuring the green jersey.

Short answer: It's Jade iridium.

Hey War wagon! how about that Cadel?

I have the Radar XL straight blades and the lens is huge but I find it functional. The lens selection is less so right now.

I'll just say Cadel' Evan's behavior makes Lance look like a charmer.

What Grand tours or World championships has he won?

Answer none: He ain't this year or I'll eat some Vegemite on crackers.

I wore my Radar XL straight blades today in GA humidity and was amazed that the frame keeps your brow from touching the top of the extended lens. Mike, Cadel Evans is renowned as a choker...look at his TDF record... enough said. Its Alberto Contador I'm picking.. He can climb & he is a much better time trialer than last years winner.

just got my Radar XL Straight Blades. Black with Light + Red Iridium. These are the eye patches of Radars, More coverage than one could ask for.

Not ready to rate them till a more useful accessory lens comes along.

Oakley can go on about its polarized lenses but Kaenon lenses are clearer to me and have no annoying red filter effect when looking at water.

Even though I keep waiting for The Oakley Bubble to pop,

I'm impressed at first glance which is saying something as I felt every thing else new has been junk, epsecially the Jawbone which in direct contrast to my saying OMFG those shades Lemond is rocking in the TDF are so bitchin I have to have those (1989) and yes I special ordered them. I saw Lance's pics from the Tour de Calif and said OMFG those Jawbone shades are so FUGLY Oakley would have to pay me to wear those!!
