Thank you Dann. I think I bought them in 1993 and Oakley sent me a replacement frame in 1995 when it broke in half. I'll be heading in to the Oakley Store in Covent Garden next week and I hope that they'll have what I need in terms of lenses.

Sorry to bump this old thread but I do have a question regarding M Frames. I was back in Canada a few weeks ago helping my parents downsize and move house. I came cross an old pair of M Frames - 2nd Gen (raised O insignia) crystal black with red iridium Strike frames. These were my old baseball glasses and I loved wearing them. They slipped into disuse with the frequent shoulder problems I was having and the lack of baseball as a result.

The frame is still in decent enough shape but the lens is quite beaten up. I'd dearly like to get a new lens for them so I could start wearing them again. I've never had a pair of sunglasses fit so well and they are far more comfortable for sports activities than the Fast Jackets that I currently own. I recently called Oakley UK and they weren't clear on whether or not I could use new M Frame lenses in these older frames. Someone said something about using an M2 Frame. I would like to know if I can still get lenses for this style or are they going to be resigned to another storage box!

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Greetings all. I have just joined the forum and am stopping by to introduce myself. My name is Robert and I am currently living in the South East of England, though I am originally from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Been lurking around the site for a little while, getting some great tips on all things Oakley. Finally thought I should join.

Thanks for having me.

Cheers,

Dr NBC
