Can someone tell me if I can get the tiny screws that the t-6 screwdriver is used for on the juliet anywhere? Or are they exclusive to Oakley frames and require I send in my glasses which I really do not want to do....

Hey there, the limo tint thing came about I believe because I was trying to use car tint to get the redness I was looking for that the movie lenses had, I never got it to work though. The chrome looking tint is a silver mirror that reflects the lense color back out the front, giving it the mirror look from the outside.

Can anyone here do an X-Metal Splice with Ruby Quartz lenses? I'd love to get it as a Wall Paper.

I always thought that a X-Metal Pair of Splice's would have been a very cool looking pair of glasses for the X-Men movies. An X-Metal Splice frame, with Ruby Quartz lenses. Wish I could do an illistration in photoshop...

That's funny, I heard the props were auctioned off, some even to the Stan Lee Foundation.........
So which ones were sent to the archives, and which ones were on ebay??? I'm sooo confused.....

I'm I right to assume you can't tell how they did end up for sale? Or why they wouldn't just produce REAL promotion replicas rather then make fake ones out of resin???

Anyone have any good pics out there of the glasses up close? (besides the propstore ones)

And James, being that the propstore sold illegal glasses with a certificate of authenticity that were also fakes I have one question.

Were they really X-Metal coated?

Yeah I couldn't get a good picture of it really. The second picture has it on the corner.
The thing is, and this is FACT, cyclops glasses have no front coating. There are coatings on it that give the red reflection, but the base coating is red for a reason.....if you follow ;)
