Hello to all-
I am currently a business student at the University of Colorado Denver and began working at Denver's Cherry Creek O Store last summer. I have been an Oakley fanatic since my first pair of Minutes in elementary school and have enjoyed watching the company expand and grow into a lifestyle! I love being involved in the retail side of Oakley but am hoping someday to move up in the ranks... meanwhile building my collection.... Hopefully I can at least contribute to this site with valuable and up-to-date retail info and look forward to learning from all the other mad scientists out there!

Eyewear Case

Coolest thing that's popped into my store recently... New additions to the polished Gearbox collections... photo props to my store manager

At this point I can confirm the "full customization" option in (select) OStores launching in the next week. Options mostly include lenses and frame color (as usual) but now also includes icons, cigar bands (Jupiter sq), and other temple pieces (such as on the radarlock). Apparently they've been testing the program out in a few stores (Mall of America) for the last couple months. But I feel like there might be something more they haven't told us yet.... :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, as you guys normally do :).... but don't they do lens etching in a Vegas O store? I heard it's difficult and the machine is large and bulky. Possibly new technology that would make it easier to etch in OStores?

TransWorld writeup is fantastic. Major breakthroughs in customization?? From a retail standpoint sounds AWESOME

Pictures are awesome thanks Dann! Any reason I can't see the video? Says it's been removed by the user but there's a good chance I suck at technology...

Little late to the convo here but wanted to share that Shaun White actually stopped by the store in Denver just before Christmas. He was wearing the Enduro and let us check them out... they were pretty bad ass... similar shape to the Garage Rock but you are right in the fact that they are smaller and much lighter and some cool detailing on the stems. Ideal for someone who loves the retro look but might feel that the garage rocks are slightly too big for their face (aka me). Wish I had time to get a pic!

I'm just really happy that it's in such good condition; all 4 drawers slide properly, each lock works, and very minimal scratching to the plexiglass. It came from a motorsports store in Florida and the guy claimed to only have it for 5 years. The first item on my agenda is to attach some small Ikea lighting fixtures to the top, unless anyone has any better suggestions for lighting? I'm not sure what the original lighting fixture was, or even if I could replicate it (since it might be one of the fixtures that comes from the ceiling in the O stores)

Beyond pumped to share this. Somehow my boyfriend managed to track down an eyewear case that's in great condition and didn't cost an extreme fortune. I still have a few eyewear pieces and goggles to add to it, but I would love some suggestions on how to better display anything! I'm hardly a collector but I'm so happy I can finally properly display the gems that I do have!

Lol @Dann ti clear is an interesting lens. Borderline creepy from the right distance/angle. I asked two managers if I could wear them at work, one said yes and one said no lol. Just really wanted them in my collection

Wow Jono, the blue/orange pair is fantastic. Things dreams are made of! And I love that the white/black was inspired by tattoos... something so extremely unique, personal and artistic already! Congrats, what an awesome set!

Finally picked up some FrogskinsLX with the ti clear lens... been trying to justify why on earth I need ti clear but I pulled the trigger when my store dwindled down to it's last pair in stock

@rich5150 not sure on the specific material of the case (maybe Oath can help me out on this) but it does have a custom metal switchlock feature. The rest of the material is a hard plastic (not OMatter).

@crosshair I work at an O Store in Denver CO and we just received them last week. Coming soon!

New Switchlock phone case is legit. Accidentally drop-kicked my phone today, case came through for me like a champ. Great upgrade from the regular Oakley cases
