Did a little extra research, yes...the Prizm Maritime Polarized is being offered as a Standard Issue lens, just not yet in the Radarlock. So far its available in Valve, Chainlink and Fives.

You guys are good :-)

Yeah, i wasn't sure what to call it. Your explanation makes much more sense.

Athlete exclusive, one off. Ok, better to know the lingo vs. calling everything a prototype lol

Thanks Oak

Silly question, anyone ever heard of Prototype lenses finding a backwards way to (us) the market?

I have a Radarlock Pitch Prizm lens, I've been told from another collector I buy from that the lens was part of the initial work done, a lens they never released. I'm not one to fall for things like this, butttttttttttt.....there is no other lens like this I've ever seen.

The details

Oakley Radarlock Pitch / Prizm
The lens says prizm on it where it should, problem is the lens is also polarized (but is NOT the Daily polarized color). Its brown when looking through the lens, but has the green hues we know to be the Oakley Prizm Golf lens.

So....it looks like Prizm Golf from the front, but not the typical pinkish contrast color when viewing through the lens. The polarization is also confirmed, easily done when looking at the Oakley Polarized lens displays, or even easier by looking at my computer screen with the lens to my eyes (as you know polarized and lcd screens do not get along).

Anyone have anything they can add to the convo?

Right now the best I can describe this is a Prototype Prizm Polarized lens (non Daily...confirmed polarized)

Any help would be great.

Sorry sir, I did pass these along to another collectible via trade. Good luck in your search!

Thanks Dann, I do remember a general lack of interest this time of year (late summer). I'll think about adjusting the prices as well.

Appreciate it man, it would be nice if these find their way into the hands of collectors, not just any collectors as I consider this group EXTREME in collecting Oakley. I'm dumbfounded at some of the pics, very impressed.

Priced too high, or simply no interest because of GEN, condition or simply colors that are no longer desired?

Feedback welcome :-)

Selling 3 M Frames/Mumbo set ups, you'll all recognize them (and some may know more than others about their specifics).

#1 GEN 2 Cobalt Frame (frame and nose piece and orig. Microfiber bag included) $150.00
Best described as NR MINT out of box (aka no box included), great color with no cracking. This frame appears as near new condition as I've personally seen (that didn't come straight out the box). It looks great.

#2 GEN 2 Black Frame w/ Hybrid lens (includes original items and the original microfiber bag....at least the one I rec'd these in on trade) $150.00
Best described as NR MINT out of box, great color on both frame and lens. This item is nearly new in condition, not even light scratches on the lens.

#3 GEN 2 Gold Mine Frame w/ Gold Heater lens $175.00
Best described as Used and out of box, unfortunately it does show a some small stress cracks in the frame, none have worked there way to the TOP of the frame. None appear imposing, although they are there. A very nice lens is included installed w/ nosepiece. Great used condition, the lens is not all scratched up and is a nice compliment to the Gold Mine Frame.

Would prefer a sale, but never shy away from trades (love the polarized Oakleys....especially in the Deep Blue fishing specific lenses). New collection starting there, but would consider any and all Oakley Polarized glasses or lenses to work a deal.

Paypal works for me

Pics as soon as I figure out how to add them again, gauge you interest on the two without cracks as if you will not be disappointed, the Gold Mine with the cracks is still a great frame, a great pickup (not ready to bust in half, but I have to mention the cracks).

I will see how this thread looks, then might make some revisions :-)

Offers welcome

Steve

One last one, since I'm confident this group is THE group to ask

Oakley M Frame obviously, newer style (non Pro style, the arms fold)

Is this officially a "White Camo" M Frame or is there another official color in the world of Oakley.

I had 4 of these and have now sold all but one, I can't really say they are rare because of their age, but I rarely (ok...never) see any for sale except the few I've sold.

Thanks

I'll leave it at that and see what I can figure out, thanks guys.

Hi gentlemen,

VERY new to the discussion here, I mainly stop by for information and research. Dan, props to you for starting such a great page, this page was around when I last checked in 2008 and its alive and kicking still today. Oakley has a cult following, I'm on board with it now :-)

Question is.....what do I have here, a confirmation would be great.

I believe I'm dealing with a Gen 1 Gold Mine and a Gen 2 Cobalt, any help would be nice.

(seems I've yet to figure out how to post pics, do you guys have these two frames available to post pics on....Black Rain and Cobalt specifically?).

I'll work on getting some pics added, seems I might need a host site for the pictures (no attaching from desktop).

Thx

Steve J
Dear Oakleys, while my face may be too fat to support most frames, I thank you for your great glasses (and the Deep Blue Polarized PitBulls lol)
