Has there ever been a discussion about how/why they created the splatter M frames?
1)How was the process created
2)Are each frame unique?
3)Looks like there are 4 frames in the set, were there any more colors out there in prototype?

When you say stencil, is the logo a decal, or has it been painted onto the lens?
Mine is on a splatter frame lens and it is a decal, not painted.

I have a pair of Mumbos that have "OAKLEY" on the top of lense in white stencil. Can anyone tell me the history of these? Same thing on ebay# 260713920169. I was told that mine was from a famous woman speed skater and they were custom for her.

Paul,
Don't get me wrong I love the watch. I have a TB & Tank, so I wanted to get a Crankcase as an everyday watch and I do wear it every day. I just wish that it was a metal band, I love the weight that the others give me, Crankcase just feels lighter on my wrist. But, you are right clasp is pretty cool. I am pretty active and only had it open twice. Once during a rough basketball game (should not had been wearing it) and once taking the kids out sledding. We were hitting 20mph and hit a nice ditch, went tumbling, it opened but nothing more. It seems like the watches are getting bigger and bigger..Gearbox & 12 gauge. I think the crankcase is perfect size, but when I run Oak I will promise stealth metal band on Crankcase.

I received a Stealth Crankcase for Christmas, love the watch but I hate the Unob band. Does anyone know if there a way to get a black metal band or of a type of band that can be modified to fit it...I am disappointed in Oakley that they didn't make a stealth metal band version of this watch...

I bought a pair of Livestrong Radars for my Girl's friends son for Christmas...We ended the relationship about 3 weeks later. Don't get me wrong, I know the kid will take care of them and loved them, but I wish I would have gotten him something else.

Back in 2004, I was in Montgomery, AL (Lake Martin to be more specific). My oldest son was only 5 at the time. I took him out on the jet ski and puddling around. I came back to the dock to see my wife asleep sun bathing, I thought it would be funny to splash her with the rooster tail of the jet ski. As I gunned and turned it my son thought it would be funny to jerk the handle bars. I had on a pair of Sub Zero (Carbon frames), I lost them as we turned over, in 13 ft water. As she is yelling at me for splashing her, he is yelling because he is in the water, I am yelling at both of them because I lost my glasses. After I tried snorkling for them for years with no luck. Last year there was a bad drought and water was down enough to where I could walk down and find them. I restored the rubbers on them and they are in my case again...vowed never to move again.

"The draw that Pandora has for humans is a naturally occurring ore dubbed "unobtanium," an old in-joke in science fiction for materials with physically impossible qualities. (Technically, since it's a mineral, it might better be called "unobtainite," but that's a pretty nerdy quibble.) Unobtanium is the best superconductor known, and apparently works at room temperature."

The UNC was part of the Collegiate line,if I remember right the lense had Ramses "UNC Mascot" or it said "UNC" it is very hard to find all 30 or so. I have TN m-frame and Minute, never could find the XX.

Do the UNC M frames have ramses engraved on lens? Very nice frames, would look great with a white nose piece.

Still not impressed by the C6 or PB. The price does not turn me off, but just the looks. I cannot get over it.

Any one have idea of the best/worst margin for Oakley? I know that the Monster Dog was quick to the market, so you would think there is large margin there. In the opposite direction, Romeo had a price increase after they 1st came out... So think that could be the high and low, but any one know for sure?
