If I had to guess, they want to move forward with the conversion of everything to the Icon rather than Square/Classic, but the originals just sell too well (Frog/Holbrook). So they're releasing really close models in hopes that those will carry the prior sales figures. - Dann

Exactly what I would say, a long road to making customers forget those models (anyone remember the Stringer?).

Have had my doubts in the past and have ended up loving the release, so knowing my luck Trillbe and Trillbe X will fit great!
