I have owned numerous pairs of Oakley Sunglasses over Years. I just made the switch to wire frames. My first pair of wire frames is the Crosshair, which were my Favorites until I had the opportunity to try on the New C-Wires. I was immediately Sold. The frames are super light and remain steady at extreme movement. The Tungsten Iridium lenses are fantastic in medium to Bright Light. These are definitely my go to sunglasses for Bright Sunny Days. I highly recommend them!

Very light and comfortable on the head, nose, and around ears.
Stay put. The tungsten iridium works well in cloudy and medium bright days. Reasonably good coverage on the periphery of vision.
Easy to wear in public without feeling like an alien, but with a quality feel as per Oakley habit.

after i had my crosshairs ripped off out of the the car, along with my 1/2jackets, and my lens cracked on my mframe, i've had no oakleys for about a year. i loved the crosshair, but the 2.0 didn't impress me at all. i came on here again and fell upon the new c-wire and said, "these could be my crosshair replacement". went to the store, tried em' on and said yes! much lighter than my crosshairs and fit my large face. a good alternative, but not the best as i liked the aviator style of my 1.0's lol

These are my sixth pair of Oakley sunglasses in the last 10yrs. I had some stolen, others broken, and one pair that flew out of a car window :(. Anyways I have kinda grown away from the loud look of some of the new plastic frames...I really wanted some Flak-Jackets but they were just too much for everyday wear for my style.

I was in the store and tried on the new C-wire and loved them. Stylish metal frames but light enough for active wear. I've worn these while running, and played several rounds of golf in them. I know some people can't golf in full framed lenses, but I found that since these are larger lenses than some others I have no issues. The tungsten iridium lens works great for golf with it's bronze base...it's no G30, but is much better in bright conditions which we have a lot of here in the south. The new "mono-shock" hinges are great in my opinion. Not as flexible as the previous springs, but feel much more stable. Fit is great and comfortable even after wearing them all day. As others have said the gel nose pads are awesome!

These are my new favorite shades!
