I LOVE the X Metal XX with the 24K frame and 24k lens, but the Juliets look alittle bit better on my face.
I keep hoping that they will make the 24k XX metals in the Juliet style, but I doubt that it will happen.
Should I buy the 24k XX metals or wait to see the new X Metal styles (if there are any!)

Thanks!

If the X-Metal XX fits your face then I say go for it. I don't think they will be releasing the 24k frame for the Juliets any time soon.

My 24K XMetal XX's are one of my favourite pair. They are very loose fitting, but look awesome. There is a Titanium/24K Juliet, but I doubt they'd loose the exclusivity of that color scheme to another model. So I'd go for it.

Hi Dan,
I never saw a pair of the Titanium/24k Juliets!
Are they available anywhere that you know of?
Thanks!
Sallie

Whoops, my mistake, it's Titanium/Gold

There is a 24k lens available, but I don't think it had a widespread release. Could have been custom too.

Yeah - the 24k lens is found in a Carbon/24k combination, OPD only.

Oakley Premium Dealer, basically they get a wider selection of products from Oakley. This usually translates into more eyewear color combinations.

Thanks everyone for all your help!

Now I just found out that I can get a pair of BNIB Ruby Juliets, so I have to figure out which I want.

Any suggestions :)

Price rules all on that decision. Are you paying retail for the Rubies. If so, go with the XX's. If you can get the Juliet cheaper, than go for that.

Elijah told me that the 24k lens was never available to the US. I bought one of the Carbon/24k Juliets when I was in Canada, and I've only seen it online through UK dealers. Elijah went so far as to tell me to never scratch the lens, because Oakley US can't warranty replace them because it isn't available here :P It's a shame, I love the way it looks.

Theres a pic in the Juliet section of this site, but damn I didn't know they were THAT rare. I remember seeing a pair of 24k juliet replacement lens of ebay once, but I didn't check it out the price when it ended, but now that I know they are this rare I guess it must have been expensive as hell.

are you guys talking about juliet carbon with 24K lenses? cos i saw one at a local store here when i was looking for ruby square wire, but my country is in indonesia.

it's very nice, and i saw the serial number was very low as well. but it's very expensive. Rp. 2.9 million. i think that's roughly USD 330-340, convert them at www.xe.com if you want.
