Hopefully it will last forever.

Which leads me to a question. How long will Oakley repair Timebombs. Not in terms of Warranty, but physical parts to replace the face or internal parts if needed. If 10..20 years down the line, can I still get it serviced. The only way I justify the price is because I don't plan to wear another watch again.

I had a Tag Huer Professionl 2000 when I bought my GMT. After a week of wearing the GMT and getting used to the weight I found the TAG to small and light, so stopped wearing it, and now wear the GMT 24/7. A watch is to be worn and used and if it breaks I'll repair it or get a new one. But I will know that I have had heaps of use out of the one i do have. As for the TAG i sold it on ebay.
One thing i live by know also is never save anything for a special day because every day is Special. Use it and enjoy!

Dann dont worry about 10-20 years down the line, first of all im sure the watch will last as long as you want it to but also in 10-20 years i bet oakley will make at least 1 new watch that your gonna want.

Well the face has held up pretty well, but there are tiny scratches around if I look hard enough and reflect a light off it a certain way. No big deal now, but I've only had it for a year and a half, so I'm sure if I multiply that it will be more in a few years. Plus the band is slowly separating from the center. Not sure if it was always like that, but I just fear it breaking and then that style being discontinued.

im sure you can get it repaired or replaced at least for another 5 years cos a timebomb is a serious watch. so i doubt its a style that they will soon discontinue.
