Just taking an informal poll. Between the two, the Ducati Juliets and the Emerald Slate Ichiro Juliets, which one would YOU prefer, and why?
If you've owned either, info about both is also appreciated!

I'd say the Ichiro's. They're less common & a little flashier combo. BTW, welcome to the O-Review!

Wow that was quick, and thanks for the welcome!
But the ducati's seem to have lots of room for modifications, imagine putting in ruby or blue lenses in!

That's true if you want customs but if you want to keep it numbers matching I'd still say the 51's

I'll say Ichiro, because I love the polished frame, and you can't get the emerald slate lens anywhere else. Black Iridium is boring.

That said though, I did own a pair of ducati juliets, and they looked really badass with my leather jacket. The red accents look killer. By no means is it a bad pair of juliets.

I would go with the majority here and say the Ichiro is the way to go. Nothing wrong with the Ducati, it just isn't as inspiring since the black iridium is such a common lens. If you are into customs, the ducati does look "sensational" with ruby or fire lenses.

That I am. I'm not too flashy a guy and I think that carbon's a little too lustrous for my taste. Between the different Ducati generations, I definitely prefer the first generation with X-Metal frames. By extension of reasoning, I would take the Ducati Juliets in X-Metal over the emerald slate 51s but would take the slate iridium 51s over the former because they look a little more distinguished to me.

I agree with you and not because it has started to annoy me because it seems the favorite words around here are “Ichiro Juliets”.

For sunglasses frames I prefer a dark frame and a neutral color shift lens so the Ducati’s are a no brainer.

However, there is one lens that I have seen though that I really want to get it was a Emerald Slate Iridium in a pair of teaspoons. Teaspoons are a bit too small for me and Emerald Slate Iridium are only offered in one other frame, Ichiro Juliet. So guess what I’m getting sometime unless someone could score me some lens at a decent price.

As the proud owner of a pair of Emerald 51's, I'd say those but I wouldn't mind getting a pair of Ducati Juliets

Imagine if they weren't signature, which one would you prefer? Black vs Blue or Slate or Emerald Slate.

The Ducati's MSRP cost $10 more than the Ichiro yet Ichiro goes for a lot more on ebaY

I would tell you to go for the Ichiro if you don't own any other Juliets (espcially any plasma or polished frames). The colorway is unique and you'll feel special knowing you have a scribble and 51 in the corner of your eye.

But if you have any polished or chrome juliets, by all means get something different and sport the Ducati!

I don't play favorites, I just say go for what suits your collection!
